Wow that camera is crisp what are you using ? loved the show footage by the way shame i missed it :-( .... thankfully your camera made me feel like i'd been :-)
Only old men because youths of today don’t have patience , knowledge or skill like these brilliant engineers. I absolutely love steam especially traction engines. Great bit of recording by the way!!!!
@@johnhallam667 HEY! But I get your point. Can I just that at the age of 14 yrs, 11 months and 23 days, I am the proud owner of 3 model railway layouts (two 00 gauge (one is an exhibition layout) and one N gauge), a 50 - 60 yr old Mamod steam tractor and a private 7 1/4 inch railway which is in the works at this point in time.. I'm not a 'spoilt brat'.. I am also a member of the Stafford Railway Circle and soon a volunteer at the Rudyard Lake Steam Railway.. I'm not saying you're wrong nor saying that you're stereotyping 21st century youths but I do agree on what you are trying to say. I have been a fond lover of vintage traction of all types since at a young age (totally not because of Thomas and Friends) and yeah..
I was hooked into model engineering aged 12 back in the 1950s which also led to a life as ab engineer, jig and tool maker. 50 years working in developing countries and 7 steam locos. Retired now but still active in my garden workshop and not at all bothered by lockdowns etc😉
A very good show indeed, was my fist time going to it, superb coverage of the event as well.

Hi The Funeral Director 1965, pleased you liked the footage. I've just upgrade to a Canon XF400, still getting use to all the features.

i also enjoyed the model canal system @3:24
This is not a criticism but a statement: There are almost only old men at the exhibition. :-(
Well why don't you join a club and have a go??!!
