Fireman seem friendly and up for a laugh in every country, and office workers uptight and unfriendly.
I'm an office worker, and I always engage in conversation with strangers. Mind you, that's Dunedin NZ, we're a bit odd down here 😂

I can’t believe Troy came to my city and I missed him. I’d have killed to see him. I would’ve also recommended a number of livelier areas that would have garnered better responses than the financial district on a work day.

We're not used to strangers approaching us in public, so when they do we're not sure of what to make of it. It's just how we are. Ask us for directions and we'll gladly give them to you, though.

It's kinda weird when he approaches people. I feel like it works better when he's at an entrance to a place or standing on a street corner. Just walking up and interrupting a conversation is a different vibe.

The financial district in Toronto is not representative of an entire country.
They mostly have no idea what he‘s talking about. It‘s not that they are unkind but they don‘t ‚get him‘. I lived in Canada for a while; they‘re not used that unknown ppl talk to them and so they‘re weary of Troy.
I wish I could have run into Troy, the master of good will, but I hate going into Toronto. Be careful Troy; pedestrians have the right of way but Ontario drivers don't know that law
