CTC II-23 Cadet Graduation Run - California Highway Patrol

On the morning of August 30, 2023, more than 112 CHP Cadets of CTC II-23 ran their Graduation Run, a tradition for every cadet training class. Their 5-mile run commenced at the CHP Academy and concluded at the California Peace Officers Memorial next to the California State Capitol. The Cadets were cheered along the way by family and friends. All that awaits is their graduation ceremony where they will officially receive their badges and become the newest Officers of the California Highway Patrol.

Since covid and the halt of classes, it has been a crap show on the roads and highways. Officers retiring and no new Troopers coming in, was a recipe for disaster. This free for all, with no regards for repercussion is going to be coming to a halt. Congratulations Troopers
