Thanks for this! I'm still a fairly new EXO-L, for about two years now and I didn't realize that about the songs representing their powers. Very cool. However for me Ohlalala is always going to be Xiumin's song because his ending choreo is so iconic. The whole song really, I'm Baekhyun biased and also usually focused on Sehun's dancing but Xiumin constantly steals my eyes during the lives of this song.

Xiumin is EXO's biggest bias wrecker. With that stacked vocal and dance line, you'd think he'd kinda fade into the background a little but nope, he knows exactly what he's doing and how to eat up camera time! I love him.

Xiumin is the all-rounder, jack of all trades, secret weapon. You’re right, he hits hard when you least expect it, but I don’t think he necessarily gets the good parts, he makes them good and memorable. My impression of him is that he lets others shine before putting himself forward. I was so happy when they announced CBX. In such a small group he doesn’t get a choice about being in the limelight. He shines whether he likes it or not 😂

Aw. EXO is so legendary they can cover each other's parts and still sound amazing in any combination of members. So yes, they killed this without D.O. and Xiumin but you really should watch a version with them in it because D.O.'s live adlibs and Xiumin's smooth AF ending choreo on this song are iconic. But I get that the lives get blocked all the time and no one is doubting Chen's adlibs either and Suho also did the ending with his own sexy vibes.

Another reason that made EXO great is that they can cover each other's part. It honestly took me time before I watched the full Exploration concert because D.O. wasn't there. But when I finally watched it, I fell in love with EXO more. They are all great artists!

That Seoul concert is EXplOration. D.O and Xiumin were in the military, Lay in China. That's why they are only 6.

Well, if you are wondering, they were 6 in that live bc it was from their last tour "EXplOration" and that happened when Xiumin and D.O. were in the military service so the other six had to cover Xiumin and D.O. parts 😄 and they even went to the concerts! Xiumin was in the first and D.O. was in the penultim concert, both of them cheering their teammates in the crowd with their EXOL lighsticks🥺❤️
But there are live stages EXO OT8 of this song! They performed this song in music shows when they were promoting Tempo. You really should watch it even if you can't record it, only to enjoy it!
And for the concerts, you are right, they mostly perform their last album songs and there were times when they didn't sing songs that we want! I'm still go livid when I remember they never give me the performance of Groove or What I want for Christmas😭 but the tour always started in Seoul so fortunately ppl in other countries know the whole set list since the first day of tour and can decide if buy or not tickets ....but you know, go to an EXO concert is always a dream experience so even if they don't sing your favorite song you really will enjoy it even if inside you, you are mad with them for not giving you your fav song😂

D.O. is the one doing the BG vocals and adlibs the most in this song (Studio version) but in LIVE PERFORMANCE (since D.O. is not there) CHEN is in-charge of the adlibs and he also do XIUMIN’s line in last second.
LAY isn't actually part of this album, he had cameos on TEMPO (korean version) and he had short lines in Chinese version but AGAIN he did not PARTICIPATE at ALL in this album. *He have teasers photos tho but again he did not participate in this album like what he did in Don't Fight The Feeling (Special Album) also that's why you see his pics included in lyrics coded because editors ADDED his picture because he has teasers photos and can be seen in MV both korean and Chinese version.
D.O. and XIUMIN are in military that time because this concert is from their last concert before they go hiatus (2019).
As you know, LAY isn't actively promotes in Korea as a kpop idol since 6 years ago. 😢

The thing about EXO'S songs is that you need to listen to them a lot of times to discover the layers behind their voices, for exemple the part that you loved when Chanyeol started singing" she knows..." there is a deep voice harmonizing with him and that's kyungsoo's voice and there is much more of them harmonizing together and it's so pretty.

For EXO concerts, they have the setlist to follow, usually the concert in Seoul and other countries will be the same setlist, except for Japan which EXO usually will have a special Japanese song released for Japan concerts.
And the finale concert which they are back to Seoul, will be the concert "dot" which they round up their tour and usually the "dot" concert will have some changes to the setlist.

I just like every song of EXO , even the ones that I didn't like in the beginning when I hear them on the albums like XOXO, lucky, Ru, what you do?... they sound so good live that I ended up liking those songs as well.
Their concerts last around 3 hours so they sing a lot of different songs. Normally they do sing a bigger quantity of song from their latest album but they do add a lot of new versions of old ones too. I think they sang Growl in each concert.
D.O and Xiumin were on military duty.
But, as you can see, even in six they slayed. Love them so much!!!!!

Lay wasn't in this album unfortunately.
Xiumin and D.O are there for the live stages, but by the time this concert was done, they had enlisted already. Except for Lay, if there are other members missing they're probably in the military.
At their concerts they dont just sing their latest songs. They choose whatever songs from their entire discography that fit the theme of the concert. And considering their discography, I really don't see how you could go to a concert and be upset because of one song they didn't sing. They work really hard to prepare a show with their team so the audience can thoroughly enjoy themselves.

Even if your favorite song is not in the set list, you will still get the best concert experience of your life when you hear and see them perform live. They cannot fit all their songs in one show so they usually do sets where there are hype songs, slow sentimental songs, sexy songs etc. which is a mix of their old and newer songs.
The smoothest choreo exo has is oh la la la. If want the 8 members live performance, they have the music show performance this was after xiumin & d.o enlisted already. You can watch it on your own time, it's really good and the dance practice version tho. Somebody just uploaded it coz I don't know why SM deleted it good thing someone saved it 😂
