He 99% is because once your into to music like this your tastes on it may evolve a bit as you dabble into other styles and genre's but will never fade.
I grew up on listening to 80s - 2000s punk rock and even though I don't listen to it as much as I used to as my tastes have evolved i still go back and listen to bands like operation ivy or green day and its been 20 years and i still listen to it

Hey Jack, you’re what got me into metal and SOAD and this song is now my favorite song(literally have like 548 plays this year alone) and you’re also the person that got me into playing drums. I ain’t that good but this song is my absolute favorite to play whenever I’m feeling like drumming.
Thats awesome man. I recommend bands like Slipknot, Korn, In This Moment, Circa Survive. Those bands are really great IMO to help first dive into metal

i remember when this video came out (cant believe it was 5 years ago) i remember i was in italy at the time on holiday and i was about 11 at the time and i said to my mum "as soon as we get back home can i learn drums" ive never picked up an instrument in my life and jack was who inspired me to play, I thank him for that. I hope he does the drum videos again, i love them.

This single video 6 years ago is what ignited my love for SOAD in my early teens and started my love for this entire genre of music, and for that, I'm very grateful
I've been a bit of a fan for the longest time. I enjoy everyone that Jack plays games with and I see him all the time; he would always add such a tone to whatever he's participating in. I didn't know these drum videos existed, but I finally subscribed, rightfully so. Should have much sooner, but I don't use this platform much. What a cool dude, wholesome story, and skills to back it up. Drumming means a lot to me for a lot of reasons and I just never knew this facet of Jack existed. Very cool, top notch.

I'm not a huge fan of gaming videos and stuff, mostly commentary and artsy stuff
But I think he has a cool personality and a lot of talent
Even though I probably won't be watching him because his content isn't usually my cup o' tea, he seems like a genuinely funny and cool guy and I'm honestly really impressed at how much he's grown since I was young and still watched him consistently
I'm only really commenting this here cause this is the video I come back to, being a fan of SOAD and watching tons of covers
He helped a lot when I was younger and watched him regularly and the fact that he is still going so, so strong is inspiring
