Great video, really helpful!
how long does it take to get the money for the recipient? is it like PayPal only taking 5 seconds?
and what about if I've sent money and they weren't delivered in 15 business days and revolut is not doing anything about it but only stating we have escalated this....? Can you help me with that? or is there any institute that I can raise this concern to?
0:46 what to do if u want to do to Bank Recipient?
If you send money to a revolut account with 0$, will they not receive the money? Bcz I sent from my bank to my revolut & I didn’t receive any, what shall I do?
Nice
Thanks!
What would you say is the best card to use for visiting France and using it for purchases and maybe the odd ATM withdrawal? Thanks!
Hey Edward, I would absolutely suggest Revolut. If you're in the UK? You could deposit GBP into your account, exchange it for EUR and just spend that money in France just like a local would. Just remember when you're exchanging currencies with Revolut that you do it during the week to avoid any weekend exchange rate margin fee. And if you do sign-up please consider using our affiliate link :) bit.ly/3QfqM65 - Thank you ^Jonny
No never
Its waste of time and your money is also in risk.
How do I draw money out of a bank using a starling card? I'm going to Thailand In February but I'm not sure how to get money when I'm there.
Hey Herman. As long as you have the funds in your Starling account, then you should be able to withdraw money from any ATM that accepts Mastercard. You'll also receive Mastercards FX rates and Starling won't charge you a fixed fee. Just remember to decline any currency conversion (and pay in the local currency) that the ATM may offer you and just let Starling take care of that. ^Jonny
@@Monitodotcom thanks man, much appreciated
@@Monitodotcom I was just about to draw money out and the machine said continue with conversion or continue without conversion, which do I select?
@@LincolnClay98 You select 'continue without conversion'.
I sended money to my wife, and revolut recognized this as a risk transfer. So now I can do notning. I can't send money to her account of bank. Befor a few weeks,I did send about 50euro,but now with more money I have a problem. 😭
I've had this before with many other banks, Barclays always do this to me 😂 Have you reached out to their customer service? ^Jonny
Hey I have two questions if you can help me out , what's a good card to spend in Egypt and Qatar both countries or overall best card for both countries ?
I've been hearing Currensea is good card as well but have not seen a review , what are your thoughts ?
Hey Ayman, the first thing to ask is where are you based? As this will impact what you have available to choose from. ^Jonny
@@Monitodotcom hey Jonny , I'm based in the UK , London , so yeah wanted to know what's best and about Currensea, thank you
@@Monitodotcom Jonny let me know please
Hey Ayman, you've gotta go with Revolut, especially when it comes to spending money internationally. You'll be able to deposit GBP into your Revolut account and exchange it for the Egyptian pound or the riyal and then spend that money as a local would. AND if you sign-up with our affiliate link (bit.ly/3QfqM65) you get 3 months of Revolut Premium for free, which gives you unlimited currency exchange, always at the real, mid-market rate. In short Ayman, I would suggest Revolut for spending money in Egypt and Qatar.
I haven't reviewed Currensea but I definitely don't like that their free card has a 0.5% exchange margin fee. You basically have to pay to receive the real, mid-market rate which Revolut give you for free (up to £1,000 per month). ^Jonny
@@Monitodotcom I will do , thank you for your help , but going with the free plan with revolut is good , do I have to pay to get better plans with revolut , or free is enough ?
Thanks
I have a question . Does the recipient see my full name and details on Revolut ?
same ques can u answer?
is it mandatory that name should match with actual recipient name ? if other details are correct and name is not matching will money be delivered?
I can’t be sure Avnish but I would lean towards it being fine, as long as the account number and sort code is correctly entered. And yes the person you’re sending money to WILL SEE your full name. No other details. ^Jonny
@@Monitodotcom it would be of great help if u can confirm this. Actually I need to give some money to my friend...but the person who is sending is asking my bank details and not ready to send directly to my friend's account.
Why I'm doing so bcoz I'll have to give unnecessary tax which I don't want.
anybody knows if we need to put the bsb no. on it to Australia? Thanks
IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL ONCE SET UP
Hey Anne. What are you trying to cancel? ^Jonny
When I send money to another revolut user through email, will they see my personal details? (apart from email of course)
They will see the name of account that sent the money.
I have problems is revolut
What's up Syed?
@@Monitodotcom i can't transfer amount as well as not able to get card.my money is stuck in this account.
You can’t access your card? What do you mean? Where are you based? ^J
