- We have wanted a smoker for a while but keep finding other things that require our financial attention (read: machine room in the shop) so I built one instead. I had a lot of fun and with moderate welding skills this is a very accessible project. I spent just $100 on parts and another $75 on the Weber racks. Cheers!
