I. Really e I really enjoy the the models that you have now a days when I was a kid we had to scratch build everything I want to say thank you keep up the good work and let the younger generation enjoy the benefits of your endeavors
That diorama how-to was very helpful!!! Thasnk you Andy!!! Going to try it once!!!
Wow, who knew that first attempt would be a complete failure? Well, most people watching this. But well done for sticking with it and getting a good result at the end. It's very easy and very tempting to just give up and throw the whole thing away when things don't work out
Thanks for the info & web sight on the diorama mats along with magazines
I love the dioramas and how you make them. I am interested in making a snow scene with the Vallejo snow effect and I would love it if you could show us how to make that. Thank you so much. :)
I have learnt so much from your videos, so much so that I can see in my work that I'm improving. Thank you for the great videos.
What a great time saving product from mig , used to great effect on your diorama. I'm going to make sure I get those weathering magazines . great video as always Andy
Thank you for watching
Will take a lot of effort off of my mind and they look so good. Can't wait to try one myself... Thanks Andy
Thank you for watching
Found a U.K. company that does it , so havew ordered one . Many Thanks , and keep mup the good work. I enjoy watching your video's and have learnt a bit more by seeing how you go about your build's. Phil Ratcliffe.
Love the look at those Grass mats, I'm sure reality in scale do something like that, I might see about using some for a basic diorama base for my armour!
Keep up the good work!
Thanks
Thank you for watching
Just found your channel, quite by chance. Bloody marvelous. Having had an enforced year off work due to an accident at work, and having quite a bit of spare time on my hands I thought I would take up model making again after a very long absence. Quite a surprise to see how much modeling has moved on. Great channel, very helpful. Keep up the good work. Regards Russ, in a very wet Scotland
Another great video presentation
Thank you for watching
Very nice video and great dio. i love the magazine.
Thank you
can yoy do more diorama stuff pls?
Really enjoyed this one especially. You are a superb ambassador for MIG products. Better than their official website. I hope they appreciate it. I do. :)
Thank you I appreciate that.
Wow the matts look really cool
Fascinating products.
It would be quite cool to see a big battleship build like in that magazine of the Hetzer basing video. you could do it like you did with the train diorama as a sort of 3 or 4 parter!
Great Videos Andy! love that you are showing a lot of different things and techniques. Wish you posted the items that you have on your clearance rack for sale on your website.
7:23 he turned into an mg42 😂😂
Did anyone else hear the funny noise at 7:23 or was it just me
Same here
no, that was not you, that was real, how weird!
Yes, I heard it too! Some kind of weird video fart most likely.
Tyler Hale I heard it too
Same here! It's like repetitive sounds lol 😂
enjoyed the video very much. Thanx, Andy.
I can't wait to use the mats for my new Tamiya panther v thank you
Sure wish your hobby store was in my neck of the woods
You're not the only one
Hi Andy,
You have produced another quick 'how to' video, keep going strong.
Les
These videos are amazing 😉
Keep up the good work,
Wish i could come down to your shop but sadly i live far away
Ye I wish the same but I live in England 🏴😫😫😫😫😫😔😔😔😔😢😢😢😢😭😭😭😭😣😣😣
Great tutorial Andy, love the shirt!
good job Andy
Bit late to the party but I see great potential in those grass mats to make tabletop wargaming boards like for 40k, Bolt Action etc
Buen video Andy,una vez más
Awesome ,good info and video
mayby you can do a d day diorama with some water and a little bit of a beach idea. i like a Sherman on that kinds of diorama!;)
Nick Boer you can do one yourself because air fox makes a d dat beach defends kit it looks so cool
muchas gracias por la informacion. Un saludo. Me gusta mucho tus artículos, gracias de nuevo
I am looking forward every time.
Awesome info and video...
I love Ammo products.....
Another Cool Video with Good to know info. TY
Thank you for watching
It would be quite cool to see a big battleship build like in that magazine of the Hetzer basing video. you could do it like you did with the train diorama as a sort of 3 or 4 parter!
Outstanding!, thanks.
the diorama mats are not new. They have been available by ammo for quite a while and if anyone lives in Europe or wants the mats in bigger sizes by it off Reality In Scale as Ammo just repackages it in smaller sizes
Do they really? I heard there just scouring pads
Great video and a great time saving product that looks realistic and non-uniform. In your opinion is it more suited to 1/35th scale, or could it be used for others, say 1/76th?
Awesome!
I like all of it.. it would be cool and nice, to get some links in description :)
Another great video Andy, may I ask what you have used for the mud?
Hey Andy grate video . what happened to the train and stug diorama ?
I'll second that! Really looking forward to that.
Andy love your videos two things do you carry the Mig grass mat and do you do mail order??? thanks.
Great stuff! I've never tried doing dioramas, but want to start soon. What is the best Tamiya kit on the market for a Panther? What kind of wood do you use for a diorama base?
Andy, you can also get the Weathering Magazine as an e-book and carry them around with you on your phone/tab etc..., plus you can zoom in on all the detail.
Can u do a diorama with a Sherman firefly. That’s if u haven’t because I haven’t had any time to watch all of your videos. Can it be 1/48 scale PLZ👍👍👍👌👌👌
Hi Andy, any chance you are going to give some of this stuff away in competitions?
as always awesome work. will you be selling any of it on your website?
Hiya, just need to ask you a few questions about those terrain mats if you don't mind. 1. how is the bonding between the sand and grass on the mat? Does it fall off quite easy or is the bonding strong. 2. those that you can pluck off from the mat and stick onto the diroma what type of bonding agent you use super glue, pva white glue?
You would normally use PVA on those. Those kind of mats have been around a while, but you usually find them in the model railroad section. You can make your own if you are handy with crafts and have the patience for that kind of thing. I have some by another company and the bond is pretty good - you might knock off and few here and there, so I would assume Mig is of comparable quality. It won't be like you just dumped glitter all over your floor.
Shell Bush Thanks for the info ) Would save me lots of time doing a diorama.
The bond is very strong and they can be cut up and the stuff stays on very well.
Andy's Hobby Headquarters Thanks
wow
Hello. They make very nice models !!! Can we share their videos with us on the facebook page? Maybe they can mention us in their videos
I have been watching a lot of your videos lately and been trying to find out how to add bullet holes, Scratches etc.
So if you could give me some advice on going by doing this kind of stuff, that would be well appreciated
Mike I find that using the tip of my hobby knife makes great hole marks for bullet holes and my small dermal and different size bits for larger hits from tanks
Any chance of you doing the VK 45.02 (P) on the cover of the Magazine for Rust techniques?
Its such an interesting vehicle, but it doesnt get a lot of love...
Hi Andy,
Are there any books you would recommend as a sort of primer of intermediate-advanced techniques? I'm looking for gift ideas to pop on my wishlist for family this year and seriously struggling!
what do he usedf or that mud?
For the mud i use PVA and pigme t powder. Is this a good method?
hi andy ! I just want to know where you have find this ( stonny steppe , spring steppe etc ... ) because i didn't have find that on amazon ... can you help me ? thank you !
Can you make a video on how you use washes?
Hi Andy.
Could I ask what the name of the little peel off shrubs pack is? I took a look at the Mig site but they didn't appear to have them.
Thanks :)
they are called bushes , they are brand new they may not have added them yet.
Cool thanks :)
what did he used for the mud?
Looks like Thick Mud European Theater or so on.... Vallejo Products
What airbrush do you use? I know it's an iwata of some type. I'm planning on picking one up soon.
iwata hpc
If I wanted to use the mat as it was but have track marks in it how would I do that?
Where can you find that acrylic mud effect?
Couldent you take some foam board, and hot glue it to the sides, then pour on the plaster making it even thinner
entiendo que también las revistas estan en español. como puedo conseguirlas?
www.migjimenez.com/es/37-version-castellano
+Bryce Bigelow me too lol
Mr Andy I am 11 and one of my favourite tanks are the stumtiger would you be able to do one please
What was the hetzer model?

What happened at 7:23?
There was a weird noise at 7:23
The video and audio is really glitchy today
Me to it was annoying
hello andy!
May I recommend an idea that might gain some followers? well you should work with some comments, what I mean is when you make a new video, someone from the last video that asked a question, put the comment on screen and answer questions, also you can make some models that your followers suggests, maybe that will get you some people that will appreciate what you do.
Also I would love to know your email, if you don't want to give me your email, don't worry I will understand, privacy, but if you do respond to this comment!
Also please answer to this comment when its possible, I would love to hear what you think!
Take care and keep building those models!
With care,
Nicholas!
So not realistic without a dog poo... 🐕💩
