It was Austin's science and rethinking videos that brought me to Shoddycast, and for the longest time Austin's Shoddycast was Shoddycast in my mind. Now, after finally watching The Storyteller, here I am watching this video and wondering what happened and where everyone went. With Austin plagued by mental issues made worse by COVID lock downs, I sure hope he'll get well someday and continue Shoddycast, but in my heart I think it's better to let it lie and move on. Perhaps everyone can find their own way from then on, move on to brighter pastures. I suppose we'll see, I suppose that's a story for another day.

Miss the old story teller lore! They could have done so much with fo4 and 76 even tho it's online. I'm on my 2nd time watching the story teller series in 2023 🤣

Shoddycast made the right call braching out to other game lore. Dragon Age and The Witcher lore fit in really well on this channel. I actually wrote Mass Effect lore for their short lived Community Corner. Unfortunately we were never able to make full fledged videos.
How about instead of harassing another content creator which you nkew was going though a terrible time for his mental health since this was released after his video explaining why
this is a reupload of an old video. At the time Austin commented on the video and said he liked it. This was way a couple years before the lockdowns and mental breakdowns.

I thought he might have changed away from that stupid game theory persona when he uploaded a few videos without the obnoxious voice, obnoxious jpg editing, etc, but NAH, we're right back to all that shit! the only reason i'm still subbed to the channel is because I miss the old days of shoddycast. but if those old vids are ever taken down, im gone.
