Standing on the sidewalk of the Memorial Bridge on October 13, 2013

I was still standing on the new Memorial Bridge sidewalk in Portsmouth, NH. filming more Boats going under the Drawbridge on a beautiful Sunday afternoon October 13, 2013. Love that new Bridge and would go back and walk on it again

I thought the lift alert was annoying on Hawthorne bridge. Those bells just topped that. That’s a cool bridge for sure tho. Happens to be one of my likings

Actually, this is the Memorial Bridge spanning US Route 1. The Sarah Long Bridge which carries the Route 1 bypass across the Piscataqua River is between this and the I-95 bridge.
I remember when the old Memorial Bridge was demolished in 2012, the news coverage of the "float-out" of the lift span, and the sense of sadness people felt when it was gone. People were fond of the old landmark, particularly for the sign over one side that dedicated the structure to the veterans of WWI. Does anyone know if they returned the sign to the top of the new bridge? Very nice video :)
