- Fan Halen played the concert at the park series in Agoura Hills, CA on 8/17/14 and this is called Mean Street. And no its not Satchel. His name is Derek Fuller.

This is very impressive. Maybe one of the best tribute bands I’ve heard. And I think that is actually the real Michael Anthony, haha!
He certainly sounds like DLRoth! And bassist has an uncanny semblance to Anthony.
This guy really nailed Dave's voice.

I am a Halen fan sin 1978 and I am not hating. To the contrary, I am thankful that new young people had recognized this great era of Rock-Metal. In today’s era of only R&B, Rap, Reggaetón and only few playing new metal in the radio stations, it is refreshing going out and show your kids or grandchildren, how this great music looked like while performed live and without computers in a studio. Did I said that this guitar player is a shredder of superb quality. The bass and drums are awesome. The singer hits the notes Diamond Dave can’t these days.
This is a nice trip down memory lane-For those of us old enough to remember when Eddie really did wear the red/white strip coveralls... :-)

I thought the guitarist was pretty good , Hey Its a Cover Band , If your expecting Van Halen, Then you are the one who has a problem.
If you think the "guitarist" is pretty good, you might want to get your eyes and ears checked. If you watch close, he's NOT really playing those solos!

@@darrenadams3383 I think most people are pretty realistic and can't honestly expect anyone to go note for note with arguably the best guitarist of all time. Actually, from what I could hear on my end, I thought the guitarist sounded pretty good. With that aside, as I watched his hands a little closer especially on the solos, there were notes coming out the speakers even after his fingers had stopped moving. I don't expect anyone to play as good as EVH or even close. But when they call themselves the greatest VH tribute band around, I expect the "guitarist" to at least have his guitar turned on. Anyone can stand on stage with a dumb grin on their face and wiggle a few fingers around to a guitar backing track playing over some speakers (or perhaps they can't). Anyhow, that's just what I observed I could be wrong.

If you watch enough Van Halen tribute bands, you'll learn that the hardest part of starting one of these bands, is not finding guys who can fake Eddie's solos or DLR,s stage moves and vocals or Alex's drumming or Michael's bass playing.
No, the hardest part is finding a bass player who can sing like Michael Anthony.
You never realize how great he was, until you hear an older Van Halen song without him.
To all the "real" VH bands and guitarist who are slamming these guys who are earning a check feel free to post your post your incredible videos. We can't wait to see them.
These guys are great! And whether their hair is real or not they seem to have the best hair styles in... *Looks behind drummer* .. Agoura Hills....

These guys nailed it especially on the vocals.
I have to add, the speaker cabinets are actually really cool and make a neat and clean background. Never saw a setup like this...
Now if DLR could only sound as good as this dude now..be an improvement for Van Halen and id prolly get a ticket and go watch them again

Probably the Best Van Halen tribute I’ve ever heard. Damn they are good all the way down to the Michael Anthony look a like, and they’re actually a very accomplished and tight band.

I SAW THESE CATS PLAY IN THE DETROIT AREA IN FEB '18 ON THE 40TH ANNIVERSARY TO THE DAY.. THAT VH1 WAS RELEASED.. THATS THE ALBUM.. NOT THE MUSIC CHANNEL JUST TO BE CLEAR. THEY TORE IT UP AND CAPTURED THE ESSENCE OF A LIVE 80's VH SHOW.. FROM THE ANTICS OF "DIAMOND DAVE" TO THE "BROWN SOUND" OF EDWARD VAN HALEN.. THESE CATS PULLED IT OFF IN EVERY WAY AND ANY WAY YA' SLICE IT! THEY PLAYED THE ICONIC 1st ALBUM IN ITS ENTIRETY AND THE MEAT OF EVERY VH ALBUM THAT FOLLOWED IN ORDER.. AND ALL THE WAY UP TO "1984".. THE BEAUTY OF IT WAS THAT THEY DIDNT PLAY ANY OF THE CRAP RECORDED WITH THE OTHER TWO (SINGERS?) THAT MADE FUTILE ATTEMPTS AT REPLACING THE ONLY VOICE OF VH.. MR. DAVID LEE ROTH!!!

Well he is not that far off at all ....He needs to practice the chops a little more ...and work on his timing ...decent tone ,,better than the tone I recorded on my CZcams account ..
but I must say that my tone now is better than both....I just had to hear my old tone on CZcams as a sound check comparison ...I'll have some new video sometime in February 2019 ...
