I made that comparison in my head recently, never thought I would but Ronnie has grown so much it's insane.
Chester is my inspiration when I sing. I can hit a good bit of him, but I am really seeing Ronnie as a second to him. A new influence for me. Though I will probably never nail his rap, I will leave that to my son LOL.

It's funny ronnie hate that he had to say "fucking" but I honestly think that's the most impactful part of the song, the fact that its on the third chorus makes it fit so well that he is fed up and losing it. Im glad he put that in there.
Exactly what I thought. Corny? No. Surprising? Totally. Because you've gone the whole song with this melancholic, kinda prestigiously-presented singer, very.. Uh, "proper". Can't think of a better word to describe it. But then with a single swear that totally changes, and you get the feeling that it's not so much melancholy, but rather a very sad, very emotional anger. You get the sense that something's wrong.
And then the *see* line comes in, and it all ties back together. The f-bombs foreshadow it without making it obvious. Masterful.
Such a beautiful juxtaposition having fuck in an almost lullaby sounding song. It’s one of my favorite parts.
One swear word has more impact than multiple. More emphasis especially in the third chorus like you were saying.

That’s dope as hell. This is literally the best reaction channel to me. His break downs are always so articulate and thorough. That comparison to Chester you can tell means a hell of a lot to Ronnie. Everyone in the scene looks up to and loves Linkin Park. Most of us still wrestle with the fact that he's gone. RIP Chester. But big props to Ronnie for his evolution. And he's right about intelligent people fucking with his music. Probably because the lyrics and delivery are both deep and heavy. Most intelligent people become victims of depression because they think about everything and everyone and stress themselves out. Sad, but true.
