    Zoanthrope ball seems a bit to good. It's got DPS ans range, I have no problem with that. But why are they so damn resillient? Time after time I see matches where everything is demolished by an unstoppable zoan spam. I'm not an active player, so maybe I 'm missing something.

      First off, we Tyranid players are maxed two Zoanthrope units, which can have up to a three model max. The last unit upgrade increases speed. Secondly, Zoanthropes are our equivalent of the other factions “psychic” heroes that have a similar ability to that of the World Eaters to my current knowledge. The ability to allow the unit to stay alive at 1HP instead of dying is immensely powerful no matter what unit you cast it on. On top of that, they have to move so close into range that if you are not focus firing them to make them use their ability, that is your own fault. These creatures are not known for the martial prowess but rather used as supportive synapse creatures with devastating psychic abilities that can be used offensively and defensively. From what I understand from the lore, the only real way to kill a Zoanthrope is not by shooting it, its by getting close enough to slay it which is obviously easier said then done. I believe the modders balanced this unit quite nicely but I do believe in order to balance it in multiplayer you have to increase their requisition cost in my opinion.

      @@reneg_de7024 What you're saying makes sense. I would argue though that their unit size should be limited to maybe three models, if they are so elite. Right now they seem to be a no brainer.

      In UA Tyranid Zoanthropes aren't limited to two squads. They are a four man squad with a Neuranthrope sergeant type addition. Their barrier protects them from taking a lot of damage. Which is destroyed instantly by anything that kills morale. Once you learn that, they melt pretty easily. They just don't adhere to, hit thing with enough damage and it will die. It's, deploy flamers or snipers to demoralize the Zoanthrope's emotions so it feels like dying, then hit it with normal damage.

    There is a game where they Tyranids get their „all units are free“ game ender and the Swarmlord gets killed. ;D

      The IG player was having a bad time of it, his PC was so badly lagged-out, it took 8 minutes for him to build a single Basilisk lol.

    20:19 sallying forth to meet the enemy from a fortified position is called a "sortie" I believe.

    Can the Swarmlord be banned from your games? It renders the game quite pointless once he spawns, he cannot be killed and he destroys HQs in a couple of swipes… Simply broken

      I’ve seen that one game where the player sent in a singular Swamlord and it stayed alive inside of the enemy base alone for like 15 minutes straight while everything and everyone in the base were consistently firing everything they had at it, the thing didn’t even lose more than 5% of it’s HP throughout all of that. It’s just ridiculous how broken it is, that is until you see Angron 😂

      kinda fair honestly.
      every other race has super weapons which if they get their end superweapon built and fire it they immediatedly wins the game without anyone being able to respond to it.
      necrons has the weakest off the super weapons but still clears an entire base when used, so kinda a win.
      space marines and all the "good factions" all have super weapons that can kill a titan or a swarmlord in one use.
      tyranids super weapons are buffs/debuffs and gives ample off time to get your i win bottom done.
      swarmlords are literally the only unit they can built that won't just die in seconds to a heavy shooting line (even titans goes down extremely quickly for tyranids.
      melee focused tyranids are generally quite weak in late game because they melt too fast and need to go too deep to even hit something... And there is no natural limit to the amount off firepower you can hit effectively with upon a units, and friendly fire for shooting into melee isnt a thing, so melee is kinda underwhelming mid and late game especially)
      so i am unsure what you expect tyranids to do if you nerf their only tool to push into a fortified position..
      ..
      zoans are their only effective long range weapon, every other tyranid unit is outranged, outrun, and outgunned by every other faction. look at how easy mode most factions find it in T1 and T2 (starting at t0 for some reason its confusing) to lock down tyranids; first when they get zoans which has some range and some heavy anti-armour dmg and some CC can they dream off surviving to a later tier ;P
      i love Tyranids, i love their idea lore and design. i would love them even more if they where more melee focused in late game and where using biomass off their victims for more (i love that they can use cannibalize, some off them, zoans can't btw so they never get stronger so later game easier to kill them; while most tyranids can cannibalize to increase their stats to be on par with other factions :)
      which is sooo damn cool; we never see biomass as a factor in any off the games using it, this is the first ive seen that kinda symbolize it in an awesome way (death on tyranid infected ground should automatically add resources a the biomass is absorbed; would be awesome :P)

    I know modders gonna mod but that swarmlord is broken and the jank of tyranid models and animations tells me the modders just shit out these tyranids without any gameplay consideration. Its just someone's mary sue faction.

      In all fairness end game for chaos demons is just as abhorrent. Skarbrand is stupid powerful and just decimates the second they enter. I wouldn't criticize the modders though - they put a lot of effort into everything you see, and there's always future iterations that could be more animated! But balancing at late game needs some work for UA for sure.

    That Swarmlord regen is just broken, has anyone experimented with just having him set to passive in front of a decked-out Tau army to see if he can actually be killed?
    Swarmy should be banned from play.

      I don’t hate Germans. One of my mods is a German, I do a cocast with thelaughingmax who is a German, and another of my mods is a person who lives in Germany. I love Germans. But British humour dictates that I must make jokes about everyone. In several videos I’ve made jokes about the French. In others I’ve made jokes about my home town and England in general.
      I’m sorry if you feel like I’m attacking a particular group but I promise you it’s all in good fun.
