"This 1962 unclassified documentary short features footage of Captain W. W. McMillan's marksmanship skills, and his "Path to Olympic Gold Medal" at the 1960 Olympics. While depicting Marines caring for rifles and practicing marksmanship at large shooting ranges, the majority of the film focuses on an interview of McMillan, where he provides marksmanship instruction and demonstrates each step, focusing on fundamentals like grip, stance, stability, sighting alignment and trigger control for rapid fire shooting with pistols and revolvers. The film also features footage of McMillan at the Olympics and multiple creative "trick shots" by McMillan: teacups, poker chips, playing cards, upside down pistol shots and slight aligning with mirrors."

Thanks for dropping this for everyone. It's nice to see that there are others that can share the same interest to me and not be cringe like every other CZcamsr. I am new to your channel but i have been going through your uploads and man... It's such a relief to watch some entertainment that doesn't focus on politics, yet ebraces being a good ol American. You must be born around 1990 also because it seems ten years before are ten years later, they are on some other shit. What am i saying everyone's on some funky shit. Youd fit right in Missouri, i look Forward to future content whole I'm catching up on the past uploads. Take care man. Sean/Evo

Sure enjoyed that. Brings back a lot of fond memories. We had an Olympic shooter on our pistol team. Someone like that makes you want to excel, and we did. The rifle team had a two-time Olympic Gold Medal Champion on it.

@6:32 that close up of him firing the revolver is so steady it looks like he's resting his arm on a shelf.
