To summary: IMO, wedding rings should be less than one \*week's* salary, because heading into a wedding without unnecessary debt is the most attractive trait in today's economy.
as a US based person, i did not buy my wife a diamond for an engagement ring. I got her an amethyst ring. she loved it. that's all that matters.
My wife did not want a diamond and I got her a ruby engagement ring with 2 opal wedding bands
Amethyst engagement cost more then the titanium wedding band but it's what she wanted
yeah diamonds aren't that great, and also can chip so definitely not forever.
imo there's a ton of better stones, and you'd probably be better off getting a good custom ring. (custom cutting a stone is between 50 and 500 bucks, and a good custom ring is around 500-1000 bucks)
same thing with 300 bucks brand boots, you'll often be better off getting semi-fit shoes (basically shoes that are made off of a pattern but modified so it fits, nowadays some shops have parametric models and can CNC cut the fabric/leather to the exact size, and those tend to be around the same price too).
Nik with the consistent answer for favorite element. Said Ti last time Isaac asked two packs ago
Argon is on the atmosphere, that where it was first isolated and due to argon being isolated before silver, when they isolated silver they had to give silver the chemical symbol Ag
Nik is POG! Oh my POG
I just checked a random 3 carat diamond engangement ring of high quality. The version with the lab grown diamond was around £3,000 where the natural diamond version was £45,000.
Yeah, I'll take the lab grown one. You literally get the same thing, just the origin of it is different.
If you had to choose between spanish tomatoes and dutch tomatoes where flavor and texture was exactly the same, only one of the two cost fifteen times as much, its not a very difficult choice.
I choose the Spanish tomatoes.
so, fun fact, Diamonds (for jewelry) in the real world are artificially rare, as the ones that are sold are done so by a literal cartel :)
Isn’t it a monopoly in Southern Africa? By de’beers or something?
@@gooeysundew de'beers is one of the organizations that is responsible, yep. there's a few others, and they fit the definition of a cartel.

Planks smelt 1.5 items. That means one log as planks will smelt 6 items. Sticks from the same log will get you 4 items as they only smelt 0.5 item. Please just use the charcoal. You need stacks of 64 anyway and dividing the stacks into 8, 16, 24, 32, and so on isn't that hard. Not to mention, tiny coal is probably a thing. So, please?
With ultimine, crouch growth and dark oak or spruce saplings, getting a few stacks of wood is basically seconds of work.
Don't get bothered too much by the lack of efficiency, it really doesn't matter at all.
@@paulelderson934 yeah though using raw logs is usually just easier, but with cobble generators, you can just make a bunch of furnaces to make charcoal easily.
Nike is pog! Oh my pog!
One of my pet peeves with packs that include some sort of money and a shop, is that the things you can buy from the shop are rarely worth it. Same with loot crates, by the time you get something useful out of them, you're generally passed that point of needing the items.
techopolis does it well imo, you unlock utility packs like simple storage and waystones with currency.
Minecraft invasion next please!
Love the commentary
Argon is also used in ark welding
Nik is POG. Oh. My POG. Poggers. Uber Pog. Encrypted POG!!!
My favorite element is Technetium. Cus it's not found in nature and is entirely man-made but it's so early in the periodic table
Argon is also a shield gas for welding
I get you want a "ring" but what if you get like a wedding bracelet (a bracelet with gems fused into a gold/silver bracelet)it will get praised because of the beautiful colors of multiple gems in the bracelet (example:ruby amethyst and sapphire fused with a silver bracelet:Red Purple and blue on white)
Depends on income, but wedding rings should fit the relationship more than a price. And you can get shockingly pretty, sterling sliver rings with real other gems, for less than a hundred dollars. Rings do not need to be so expensive, and if they are I feel it should be for personal details and craftsmanship, not artificially price-inflated diamonds
I think it was skall that got really pretty tungsten and wood or carbon fiber (forgot which one) rings that cost like 20 bucks each.
if you're spending like 1k on rings imo you should get a custom job.
gameof thrones review---shows epic but the last season destroys the entire thing... so i always recommend everyone watch every season but the last season and read the books from there
dissolve the grey blocks there are 3 layers under the white, better than cobble
I miss the og ui of encrypted
Today i learned they cant wistle
Why are the things in blueprint not centred.
42:46 nik in what country do you live in that you can spend 10k on a house
As a girl, personally, I would prefer my partner to buy a lab grown diamond to save the money.
Apart from the cost, the entire natural diamond industry runs on unethical practices. And synthetic diamonds are, at worst, _as_ good as natural ones (if the natural ones are very pure with no inclusions) and at best better than them.
That being said, for jewellery I would recommend synthetic moissanite. It is cheaper than diamond, is nearly as hard (9.25 on the Mohs scale) and has a higher refraction index than diamond, so it is more "sparkly".
anyone wanna play multiplayer?
Should have used some sticks as furnace fuel.
the only thing is that sticks are more fine (you use 2 sticks per item, so incomplete stacks are less wasteful)
but a whole log is also 4 items, so you get the same amount as sticks without crafting.
or planks are 6 items per log
or charcoal is 7 items per log (8 - 1 to make the charcoal.)
starting with 3 items, you use 2 planks (4 sticks) instead of 6 sticks, so imo planks are generally strictly better than sticks (unless you're crafting items one or 2 at a time, where they take the same amount.)
edit : apparently vanilla logs are 1.5 blocks, so planks it is.
@@satibel the tree cutting was yielding sticks, which i deemed to be used instead of planks from logs which were already needed.
@@priyanshugoel3030 oh yeah makes sense, I haven't played the mod yet so stick might still be useful.
imo the best thing would be to make a trench next to the dirt so you can spam shift and break efficiently, and just have a full bar of tools.
Nik is a narc!
