    Good video but it would be a lot easier to hear you without the music in the background.

      1st off...I love music. 2nd, in this video, it's distracting. Because I am trying to learn something about this due to a issue I'm having, it's a no way for me. Sorry.

    Glad you figured it out cause I'm trading for a 2011 model with low hours and it's not firing like yours was ,thanks for sharing your fix man.

    Mine has no spark to rear plug also. Going to test wires with ohm meter then the coil. thanks for posting. This is the only info I found for this problem. The music is annoying though.

    There is a Flywheel Stator wiring for the back spark plug, That should be your main part to replace as that's what supplies the spark to that back cylinder, if the part is bad it will not feed the coil to give the spark plug juice to fire, Check this before running that extra wire to the coil, if running such wire good idea to use an inline fuse for precautions so you don't burn out the coil. Just an idea.

      Your thinking of a magneto type this is a collapsing field 12v dc not a ac.

    I’ve got a 2010 4010 it’s not firing the rear coil. I’ve got 2 new coils the pickup is fine. I’ve straight wired it like shown and wired battery v to the yellow wire on coil. I believe the ecu is bad . It has a code 52 . I’ve tried everything. I believe it’s a bad ecu 😢 wish I could barrow one to try.

    Great video. I’m running into the same issue. Any tips on getting to the rear coil bolts? The space is extremely tight... especially on the passenger side. Thank you!

    If the DFI has error code 11 the ECU shuts off power to the number two cylinder. I hope you check that…

    Hello. Watched your video We have a 2012 Kawasaki Mule 4010 which runs great for 2 miles then loses power. I have rebuilt the fuel pump, replaced 2 sensors, replaced spark plugs, replaced ignition coils, tested battery (good), and fuses look good. The nearest Kawasaki dealer that might have a computer to plug it into to check ECU is closed because of Chinese flu. The shops that are open want $105 per hour to diagnose. What do you think? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Hey man mine isn’t firing on the front cylinder but fine on the rear. It’s not plug or coil, do you know which wire (black/yellow) at the ecu I should check for continuity?

    • @jefferyboring4410
      @jefferyboring4410 Před měsícem

      One will have 12v that one is just batt voltage the other one goes to the ecu . Both coils share a hot wire

    Need some help, mule 4010 with no fire to front coil. Ran wire like you said and I actually got fire BUT it won’t crank up now unless I pull the boot off the fro t spark plug. It will crank fine just on the rear cylinder but once I hook up the front again it won’t crank at all. DFI light still on as well.

    Is the blue the front cause I got the same problem but it's the front cylinder that want fire. Replace both coils. Back fires and runs on back not front

      Theirs a blue near the front coil it’s a temp sensor wire.

    heck, i have the same problem on my 3010 but it's cylinder
    #1, the front one, that isn't firing. i guess i need to see what color wire goes to that coil. having same issue as someone else here. was running fine and then just lost power all of a sudden and went dead. it re-cranked and seemed to idle pretty good but zero power and when i rev it up, goes dead. i flushed the fuel, changed fuel filter, put new plugs in it. had cranked it several times and finally decided to adjust the valves. when i removed the plugs, one was like it was brand new, no carbon and nothing burned on it. the other had some carbon and dark area on the ceramic part. i think that one cylinder is not firing.

      Well we tried your video on our 2010 mule and still no fire in rear cylinder .It must be the coil. But you saved me a ton of money

    Ohm that wire out. If nothing then issue is wiring harness. Also Kawasaki will pay to fix this issue on all 4010’s no matter what year. I do one of these once a week and mostly will be the rear coil or ECU.

    Need some help, my 4010 is not firing on the front cylinder and I have done everything ,I tried using the wire you used and no go so is there another wire I should tie into? Please help me

    • @jefferyboring4410
      @jefferyboring4410 Před měsícem

      If it’s the front cylinder the wire is a different color! Both coils on a 4010 share a hot the others go straight to the ecu and can be individually straight wired to their respective color at the ecu.

  • @AR-hk5yo

    Did you wire it straight to the coil

    • @jefferyboring4410
      @jefferyboring4410 Před měsícem

      He cut the harness and straight wired from ecu to coil Incase there was an inline short to whatever messing up the signal.

    I understand your intentions are good, but your wasting money on parts would better be remedied by purchasing an electrical multimeter and performing actual diagnostics. You could have found excessive voltage drop or resistance on that wire before you purchased anything.
