- All the memories I saved from our first month home with Violet... but there's really a lot of Asher in this haha. We got a TON of snow in January and dada took him snowboarding! So fun!! Can't believe we're a family of 4!! Life is changing so fast. Trying not to blink!

I feel you on the mom guilt part. It can be so difficult. I also stopped or cut back on doing a lot of things I used to do like even painting and playing video games after I had children cause I felt guilt putting time into my hobbies when I could be playing and spending time with my babies. It's a struggle.

Learned this in my human growth and development class: most kids don't like broccoli because there's a certain protein or chemical in the dark green vegetables that can have the potential for harm for young kids specifically that does something it doesn't do to older kids and adults. Hence why a lot of little kids will see broccoli or spinach and go "ew, poison!"

Wow you definitely did get some snow..Here in Michigan hardly any snow all winter just cold temps and freezing rain. Asher looks like he doesn't mind having snow he's sure growing up fast. Violet all like nah man you keep that ❄️ to yourself.

Oof, stubborn toddler... You could have done broccoli cookies perhaps? Toddlers are strong (I know that because I was, once, too, a toddler).
It goes like: "I am strong, if I want cookies, I will show you how determined and serious I am."
So... Perhaps instead of forcing food into his mouth and distracting him ~with propaganda songs about eating~, you could have made a challenge parkour of broccolies...
Something that says:
"Show me how strong and serious you are by going through X obstacles, eat some of those awful broccolies, and get the cookies."
Redirecting his way to express his disapproval through healthy fun challenges instead of starvation...
Forcing something is always good in the short terms, but never good in the long terms... I believe it's important to keep in mind that one day, they will grow stronger with their own tools... Hatred memories of the past... Toddler learned to shut up and do the things they ask. But that may grow into a silent hatred towards the environment... Higher chance to rebel for freedom in an unhealthy way once you can no longer hold them back from bad decisions...
"Eat some of those awful broccolies, and get the cookies" is an absolutely horrible mindset to install on a child.
Israel is stopping the entry of food and water into Gaza, children as young as newborns have died as a result of malnutrition. Why haven’t you said anything regarding the situation? You care about your kids so much but don’t care about other people’s kids?
I think there are better ways to ask her to talk about this without guilt tripping her. Don't be a dick.

It's normal in most countries to not work for a year or even longer when you have a baby. You're working through recovering and adjusting your family and whole life. Don't be hard on yourself for not feeling motivated to work!
Yeah :/ It’s just hard when social media waits for no one. I might not have a job ready for me to come back to if I took a yr off.
