You know when my 8N Ford starts doing what you described your M is doing I start with new points and condenser sometimes just a simple tune up makes all the difference in the world and it’s really wise to keep a log book on each piece of machinery because it’s so easy to forget but I would give that a try and keep that old iron running 😀🇨🇦
