My hope for year 2 of Moby Pod is that it becomes both audio and visual. You can wear your sweats if you like. I just enjoy seeing your wonderful faces and the faces of your wonderful guests.

So imagine some bad things happen to you when you’re about 6 years old. Because of people that just showed up when your father decided to do something and ran for public office. This is back in the 1980’s. The people responsible move away immediately.
Then a meth addict, a heroine addict, and just a group of general delinquents move next door who seem to be taking guidance from some unknown source. It’s weird how the old woman that lived next to you died suddenly.
You go to Christian schools, you’ve never seen your father with an alcoholic drink, and he just ran for a pretty high level office and runs one of the major construction companies in town. Your mother brings you to church every Sunday and supports and loves her family. You have a wholesome family. Your nanny, a native woman whom lost an arm through a rough childhood from the Catholics, teaches you to tie your shoes with one hand, and loves you perfectly as family. Life is pretty good. Your grandparents are amazing people. Fishing and camping with grandpa and grandma teaches you more than you learned in school.
But these people are not wholesome and after they move in more people with their general profile start filling up the neighborhood. Drug addicts, raging alcoholics… bad, chaotic, causing problems for your family however they can for no good reason, people not suitable for family.
Strange people start showing up to work with your father. Causing weird problems on purpose for no reason. Real estate people in the neighborhood call the police on your family when you are playing tag with your brothers in the front yard, she needs to get another deal going…
The new kid in the neighborhood doesn’t have a daddy. He is in prison for being involved in a major trafficking operation and so are all his friends daddies. Your daddy tells you to stay away from them.
Your mother is an endlessly generous and kind person and your father supports her efforts. Her home is open to the community. You often provide your guest quarters to the homeless and needy.
The town praises your family for their contributions to society and they are well respected in the church.
