I've been doing Chris's basic/basic to intermediate workouts for about a year and a half now but never really had the courage to do a full-on intermediate workout until this one... SO much fun! And I did much better than I thought I would 😊To anyone else who is on that threshold between basic and intermediate, try this workout!, and like she says in the beginning of the video, don't let frustration be a blocker! Chris I started with beginner basic like the beginning of January. I always said I would never be able to advance to intermediate or intermediate/advanced. My feet are slow. But I have found that I am actually able to keep up and get the steps. The tutorials are wonderful for when I get tripped up. I love your channel! I have introduced two others to your channel. You have a gift and I am glad you are sharing it. Thank you❤❤

The progressive step series is a great idea. I had absolutely no problem with the moves because of slower pace. I was so happy after this. Could have gone on and on!

I love the progressions. Today I had a bit of extra energy, so I did the basic (with the warm up and cool down) and then the intermediate (with the warm up and cool down). I messed up the tango part, but other than that, I got it. And more importantly, I finished! Thanks for the amazing choreography, Chris. Because you're so knowledgeable, I never have to worry about damaging my old body.
Halfway through I knew that I could do more, so I added my second riser. So glad that I did. It challenged me, which I know you always encourage.
Can't wait to see what you do with the choreography Saturday!

Did your workout for the first time in about two or more months. Was depressed as my son that made me a mom died in June, being homeless and more but God is good and I forgot how doing morning with you can put a smile on my face. I didn’t mess up too much. People don’t give up when you face adversity. Count it all joy. TTFN

I used to teach step in my 20s. I am now 61. I pulled my dusty step out of the closet and have been doing your classes for the last few days. My coordination isn’t the same as in my 20s so my step is on the ground. I’ve tripped a couple times. I am reminded how much I enjoy step. Love your classes!

I've been sick for about a month. I started back working out a couple days ago using light weights. I miss using my heavier weights, but I know I have to take it slow. I completed this one today. It was just enough to ease back into the cardio. Missed everyone... my husband said, I haven't seen her (Chris) in awhile (he's a fan too) he'll watch while I'm working out; he gets a kick out of your energy and the pups. I am so happy to be back. You're an amazing instructor, Chris; thank you for making working out so much fun!

So I “screened” this one earlier today and got about half way and thought, “Nope, too advanced fir Mr. Bill and I.” But, then thought why not?!? I am extremely happy and proud to report that Mr. Bill did better than me (I couldn’t get the scissor…and we aren’t to that tutorial yet! 🤣) And secretly, this basic into intermediate might be what gets Mr. Bill to really like step because when we were done he said, “I’m getting how all these moves build on the basics this way and it’s not bad at all!” That’s like a loud YAY from me, so we’ll take that enthusiasm! 😁 Thank you so much! You are changing our lives for the better with every step! ❤️
