I was sceptical and didn't let it work the 1st time but then did it again and to my own disbelief my arms separated and it was awesome thank you. I actually opened my mind and let it happen instead of trying to prove you wrong. With the theory you can't hypnotise me… lol

There are some internet "creepypasta" type stories out there about hypnotism and how it can open you up spiritually to other things. Like "the black door" that everyone supposedly has in their mind where your alter "evil" self resides etc. They are probably referencing that stuff. Honestly. These days you can find absolutely anything on the internet. (Don't mistake me, I don't believe that hypnotism is dangerous to my soul or anything. Just pointing out that some people do.)

I like this, I like the channel, I'm sure you are a good hypnotist. My hands were perfectly parallel at the end. I guess I am not a good subject for hypnosis. I have a question I’d love to know the answer to. Every time I try hypnosis (child birth, hypnosis tests, sleep, etc) they seem to work part way. For example, My hands were about a foot apart. My right arm felt heavy and sore but not so much that I needed to drop it. The left went up but not way up. In other people’s videos I’ve had experiences where I can’t open my eyes but as soon as I realize it’s working I giggle and come out. During childbirth I could reduce my pain with self hypnosis but couldn’t go as deeply as you’re “supposed to” and turn it into a peaceful event. Is this something hypnotists see regularly in participants (people who are somewhere between hypnotizable and unhypnotizable)? Or am I just likely closer to one side of the equation than the other?
Yep. This is very common. Even in shows I’ve had people where one skit works flawlessly and the next; nothing. The reason is because when in hypnosis your constantly up and down, even when deep you go from deep to deeper back to deep. So if you go in but not I deep it makes sense they only your higher ends youre a lot closer. It can also be a resistance due to control. Like not wanting to give up control. If so; just realize it’s not surrendering to control; it’s the ultimate state of control.

I knew what was going to happen because it happens every time. When he did the helium thing, my hand stayed at the same height, because reasons... And when he did the book thing, my hand felt heavy, but it tilted down, and went back to normal. I have an active imagination and I'm bad at following directions, so this happened: I couldn't balance the books, and then they fell off of my hand. 😂😅 I'm a bad subject.
I've read a few books on this, you still experienced hypnosis. The reason for this is that your mind found it much easier to visualise the books and the effect of them being heavy rather than a balloon lifting your arm. It is likely you have carried a heavy book in the past and not had a balloon lift your arm and therefore your mind was able to create the image of the books much clearer having the heavy arm effect.

This is good test for psychological balance, I’ve studied depth psychology for 20 years now - seems to me that those who are closer to balanced in their mind will not be affected.
That was greattt, I really had to concentrate hard in actually imagining a real physical balloon/books though and if i made a commitment to not follow your intructions and just didnt imagine anything i think it wouldn't work

That was really cool! The books I felt more resistant towards because I felt as though I wanted to be...tough... and lift them books but my hand did feel weighed where as my left hand kept feeling like it was literally attached to a balloon!! So awesome!

There's nothing wrong if this didn't work on you, because the first rule to be hypnotized is that YOU want to be hypnotized, so there will be no resistance by your mind, that's why high iq people are very hard to be hypnotized, because their minds aren't resting it's always active, so it blocks everything, doesn't mean that people with low iq can always be hypnotized but the probability for them to be hypnotized are so much higher than people with high iq, simply because their mind are resting 3/4 of their time.

I love card tricks...been doing them since 1960. Believe it or not, David Roth and I used to cut school together and he taught me my beginning stuff. Now, at 69, I'm still doing tricks. Even took it to the slums of Kingston, Jamaica where I worked with the poor and magic opened up so many doors in the middle of squalor and danger. I love tricks. Hypnosis? I'm really a bad candidate for it. But keep up the good work.
I just got hypnotized and that was the coolest thing I've ever felt, as soon as he said the helium balloon started getting lighter and lighter my left hand started rising up and up until it was almost passed my head, while my right arm got heavier and heavier until it's by my side. I watched countless hypnotization videos, but none of them have ever worked, this was amazing

I'm kind of a defiant and very skeptical person by nature (or nurture). However, given the circumstances, I can see how someone would react. I'll be honest though, I fought it.
This was really amazing. I was skeptical but determined to allow my mind to be open to the possibility that it would work, and it did especially on my left (ballon) hand, I was a bit more resistant to my right (books) hand yet could totally feel the weight of the books there although wasn't able to see the books in that hand as I was able to see (imagine) the balloon (don't know why I pictured the balloon light pink, lol

Lmao, this worked!! Particularly the left arm going up... Now, I was completely conscious of everything the whole time, and aware that I was following the suggestions, so I could have rejected it, but at the same time, it did feel like my arm was being moved by an outside force.
To put it another way: the movement felt outside of my volition, but I could have "vetoed" it if I had any reason to.
Whenever he clicked my arms dropped a bit 😂
