I’m not a fan of Titanic, not for the love story. But I love the special effects, cinematography, BGM, the hidden meaning they put in each scene & how similar it is to the original story.
It's impressive that Titanic is still in the top 5 and at number 3. It came out in 1997 and ticket prices were averaging $7 at that time. When you compare it to Avatar, which had the 3D ticket price bump and Endgame, which came out when ticket prices average out to $18. It just kind of blows your mind not only to think how many people saw Titanic but went to see it in theaters multiple times.
And in Disney terms, the Lion King has out-grossed plenty of films that came out between 20 and 30 years later (another example of a film which did very well)

The most important thing to remember about Titanic, was that before that film it was thought impossible for a single film to gross a billion dollars at the box office. So although these huge CGI, sequels upon sequels have pushed it out of it's number one spot, they can never take away the fact that Titanic was the first. They did what no one thought was possible plus it gave us two of our greatest actors of today in Kate and Leo, how can you not love Titanic?

Graphics were mediocre at best in almost every non Avengers Marvel movie. It’s where all the budget went. Antman and Spiderman movies knew how to make good use of their limited budget and looked great. Same thing with the big Harry Potter and Star Wars movies. Like every other one they didn’t put much effort into because they were making too many at once.
I cried of awesomeness at the final battle in avengers endgame, makes you think that another marvel avengers movie like endgame is going to take more than 5 years for it to have another epic final battle.

I think the fact that Avengers 1, 2, and 3 have little to do with each other plot and tone wise speaks for itself. In the first Avengers they didn’t try to pander to the public and as a result most people were lost and uncomfortable. It was an actual Superhero movie. boring if you aren’t hardcore.
