The Warning Army is made up of thousands of crazy music lovers who all feel like Aunts and Uncles to Dany, Pau and Ale. I know because I'm one of them. We get extremely excited when reactors are loving TW and extremely irritated if we hear any perceived unfair criticism. I've never been part of a more passionate fanbase. We love this band like family. We are crazy and we love it. 🤟🤣🤟
From drummer Paulina - Disciple is a song about social media, right? and how opinions are bought in social media and are fed to us in a way that we don't even know and how by like feeding ignorance and cultivating hate, like people gain a lot of power and money So that's what Disciple is about
🤘😊❤️
You may be surprised to know that Alejandra may be the most beloved by The Warning Army! There is just something about a tall powerful quiet woman!! Ale is so proficient and holds down the soul of their songs with Paulina right there beside her!!
The collaborations The Warning has done with outside writers is limited to the 4th album. Prior to that, no one has been credited with being co-composers. TWA, if I am wrong, let me know.
You're correct. KMF is their fourth album, the first one where they had outside writers (weaker imho).
You asked about writing. For their first EP and first two albums the sisters did it. For the third album "Error" ( Which includes "Disciple" and "Evolve") they had written all the songs and had demos, but they had not been produced and recorded yet, by the time they signed with their recording label. They worked with outsiders for edits/production and credits would have been added as appropriate. For the new album "Keep Me Fed" coming out in June, which includes "More" they worked with outside writers. They have discussed this in several interviews about having to learn how to express their visions and open up the feeling they are trying for with each song. They say in the end they are happy with the results, but it was a major learning curve to their creative process.
-Disciple: un rock poderoso un rock de The Warning ,excelente riff y una linea de bajo increíble y los rellenos de batería de Pau muy duros y que excelente interpretación de Dany y Pau ,verdaderas maestras de rock
There is an issue with the lyrics websites where songwriting credits are incorrect. One example is the song, CHOKE. Over a year after The Warning released CHOKE, a remix was made featuring Grandson & Zero 9 36. When you look at the lyrics for CHOKE on most of the lyric websites, they also credit Kevin Hissink, Matthew Cullen, Jordan Benjamin, Chester Krupa Carbone, and Maxwell Urasky. Every one of these people were involved with the later remix and had nothing to do with composing the original song. Jake Carmona does work with The Warning when they are recording so his credit is likely valid.
This song not only rocks hard but lyrically also hits hard.⚡🤘
Excellent 🤯💥🤘🎶✌️
You’re a bit off base, they aren’t talking about starting a revolution, they are speaking about the dangers of the proliferation of hate intolerance on social media, from both sides of the spectrum. The line “swimming with the fishes till they drown” is the key.

They're huge Muse fans and this is their ode to Muse
You're getting this one wrong. They are actualy criticizing people that become disciples and follow rudiculous conspiracy theories. Thats why at the beginning they say, the sun us your enemy today. How crazy are you to follow someone that twlls you that. At the end they mention stsying in your space of ignorance. Only listening to one persons foolush ideas leads to ignorance.
😉
Don't over-react on writer creds. That person was not wrong, just SLIGHTLY out of date. They always did all their own writing until the last album, where i think their label got them to collaborate with different writers in LA, 2 per day for 2 weeks.
Think the label was getting worried that the lyrics they were writing were too relevant, hence not saleable in the US, like this song.
Yes, KMF is good so far (I truly think the ladies are incapable of constructing a **bad** song), but it's a step down. It definitely has the whiff of corporate interference in it.
Or, alternatively, you can contact with their KMF producers (Anton DeLost is a really nice and polite guy), have a little chat with them and have it confirmed firsthand that the label has 0 influence on the girls' creative process, just like the producers (who have simply helped them to broaden their horizons), and that they actually had to restrain the ladies from adding even more effects and distortions in the songs.
By reading their interviews you can see they wanted to take this album in a more light and playful, and less "confrontational" way. It's interesting too to take into account all the proposals to sign with record labels that they knocked down because they didn't grant them total artistic freedom. Fuck, the negotiations with Lava lasted EIGHT MONTHS...
It's all 100% in their hands.
@Superbio Do you seriously think that Lava had no hand in arranging ?12? Full-day writing sessions with some of the best-known songwriters in LA, then a week in Nashville? 🥱
@@lengould9262 0 influence. Confirmed by the producers, confirmed by Jason Flom (the boss from the label), confirmed by DPA themselves. They are all lying? I think not, you can think as you wish.
@@Superbio What is your information source? Are you simply guessing, or has someone on the team said that exactly? Reference?
Disciple at Teatro Metropolitan is a must see. Their music videos are good, but they are best viewed live! Enjoy your journey
