The problem is the different weapon classes fill very different roles so they’re not very comparable in most cases. There’s really no reason to compare a shotgun and a sniper rifle because they do very different things. Except for the intentional hybrid guns, but that’s a whole different animal

Ill be that guy and actually say the ASP was my favorite pistol in COD history. Zero recoil, lighting fast reloads, and no limit on how fast it could be fired. I would play entire matches with the ASP because it was so fun to laser people with that little gun!

MW2 USP.45 shouldn’t be anywhere near the bottom, I’d argue it’s better than the M9 since the silencer isn’t bugged.

It’s awesome to rank all of the pistols, however, I feel like you should compare them to all of them not to the ones in each game. The MW2 USP.45 or the M9 are good not better than the rafficas or the G18s but certainly better than a lot of lower pistols.

So not going to argue about the Executioner in bo2, it was just fun to use sometimes, but if you switch to zombies, on the little town map, the P.A.Ped Executioner was really fun to mess around with.

CoD4 M9 deserves a little more love for the fact it gave you more starting ammo when paired with the MP5
and it was a good pistol fast no recoil and indeed pick up ammo from mp5 or uzi or shared with class uzi /mp5
RW1 at #72 is criminal. Same as the p226 because it was easily one of the best pistols in ghosts. He really needs to go back to the old games and play them to see how they actually go. Plus wheres the golden pdw?

The ASP looks kinda fun to use. And the firing sound on guns can have some effect on usage. Back in one of the old Wolfenstein games, iirc the MP-40 sounded way more bassy then the Thompson, which made players think it was better which made them play better.
The COD4 Commander Deagle will always be my favorite pistol in cod. Love that thing 😎

Tac 45 at 19 is a crime. The TAC 45 by far the best pistol in BO2 and in cod in general

I think the RK7 should be way higher. Once you put rapid fire on it it was a beast of a weapon.

Let’s not let nostalgia get to us but the makarov and the 1911 from bo1 had very similar stats, I do think the 1911 is a little bit better but static-wise theyre very similar
Both have the same damage and RoF. Can't speak for their damage range but I know the 1911 had two more bullets in an extended mag
I still play bo1 and I'm pretty sure the makarov had better damage, at least thats what I remember
I actually ran the ASP alot in BO1 due to it having the fastest reload of all weapons in that game. And when you couple that with how fast you can pull the trigger, the small clip size is really negligible.
No matter what, the Python is my favorite. Especially the reload animation with the speed loader. But nothing beats the M1911 Akimbo reload from that game.

Honestly I find AW to be underrated tbh. Iw and bo3 went full futuristic with like boost and shi like that where as AW really just added a tiny jumpboost with a bit of strafe. That's just my opinion doe. I had fun playing. AW bo3 was really for zombies but hated iw

Akimbo USPs and M9s were mad underrated in MW2. My go to secondary with SMGs and LMGs.
For my playing style in Multiplayer, I'd go with the M1911 or the TT-33.
M1911: 8 Round Mag, Can Hold 8 More Mags, Reload Time of 1.9 (Loaded) - 2.65 Seconds (Unloaded), 20-40 Damage, Low Recoil, Range of 3.75 to 12.50 Meters (Low to Mid Range).
TT-33: 8 Round Mag, Can Hold 8 More Mags, Reload Time of 2.25 (Loaded) - 2.35 Seconds (Unloaded), 20-40 Damage, Low Recoil, Range of 6.25 to 12.50 Meters (Low to Mid Range).

Honestly. Never thought of pistols for fallback weapons except when I'm (rarely) sniping. I may start plopping one on a couple classes in BO3, probably backup for my LMGs and long reload ARs.
Also. As a BO3 player, I love the game a ton. But I'd personally say the Marshal 16 and Rift E9 should be lower. The Marshal 16 is a super super super niche weapon that requires them to be close or for you to have it akimbo to benefit from it. And the Rift E9 is a PAIN to use

Why are you comparing the USP to shotguns? I don’t think any handgun in MW2 outside of machine pistols would keep up with the shotguns in that game

The rafika was my most used pistol in bo4, very first pistol I ever max prestiged. One burst in hc tho
The mw2019 1911 and x16 being that low is absurd, I’ve ran both of those competing with built AR’s and SMG’s
BO2 FN Tac .45 was my handgun in the game, many wins in hardcore free for all.

The COD 4 Desert Eagle was my favorite in Hardcore because it ALWAYS one shot at all ranges with stopping power. It's a ridiculous weapon. It may have landed in 21st but I will tell you it's MY number one. For SOME reason it was bonkers powerful in hardcore with Stopping Power.

MW2 pistols should be higher compared to other cod pistols. You said they are low because of how they compare to the other secondaries in MW2, but that doesn't take away from the capabilities of each gun.
