Fixing a Robot Mower with a Laptop Charger

  • The Worx Landroid base station quit charging. I fixed it using a cheap 90W laptop charging cable.

    The battery is 20v right?
    Dont you need more then 19v to charge the battery to 100%?

      The original power supply is 24v, to charge the 20v rated battery.

    Hi Justin, Thanks for the video! I am looking into options for DYI fixing my exactly same Landroid mower as Worx doesn't support the product anymore. Can you please update us on this solution longevity? Has this fix worked for a whole season and was the robot consistently charging to 100% with only 19 volts? Thanks a lot!

      It worked for a couple more months, but unsure how long that solution would have lasted. Over the winter we moved to a new house w 5 acres. So I upgraded to one of the new Luba 2 mowers.

    Can you see in the log how much faster it charges with this bigger power supply?
