I for the life of me cannot figure out how to dodge attacks correctly. It seems that there is a dodge delay of about 250-500ms after pressing the button and it screws me up every time. Its basically unplayable for me, I'm constantly out of food and getting killed ever 2nd to 3rd pack... feels bad man...
Armour and weapon upgrades are essential. A one handed sword and shield work really well, wooden one not so good. I would go to say that you really don't need more than 100 life if you work towards lots of equipment load stats allowing you to wear heavier armor and still dodge attacks.
