"Softspace" is a term I came up with to describe the afterlife in a way that feels less dramatic and divine than terms like "The Afterlife" or "Heaven." Recently, two people in the fandom passed away, and it was both heartbreaking and terrifying for me. While I've encountered death before, these losses felt incredibly real. For a long time, I've dreaded what happens after death. The idea of eternal happiness isn't appealing to me because it seems to strip away a person's sense of self. Eternal happiness feels more like a sentence than a blessing. On my main channel, I've discussed my beliefs about Softspace in more detail. In essence, it's a comforting and peaceful place that's just right for everyone-a chill place rather than an infinitely happy one.
