ABOUT: Padre Guilherme Peixoto was born in Guimarães, Portugal, in 1974 and has been a priest since 1999. He is a parish priest in the Archdiocese of Braga and a military chaplain ( capelão ) with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Diocese of the Armed and Security Forces.

Jesus said “where two or three of you are gathered in my name, there I am”. The church is starting to get the true meaning of biblical text. Celebrate God, enjoy life. This guy gets it, then takes the pope’s teachings and drops a beat on it. Can’t believe anyone would hate on the spirit of the liturgy that inspires so many people to praise that kind of glory AND gives frisson? Big love to all.

@@dariusdarius008 many people pray in different ways. I also hold a lot of stock for solemn, reverent, and humble prayers, which I find in my church. But there are a lot of churches that sing vibrantly and dance joyfully to celebrate God too. This is the latter, to me at least.
NO! You have misinterpreted what Jesus said. Was Jesus following what everyone else and their corruption were doing? NO, he wasn't. This is a betrayal of liturgy not an inspiration. Jesus already gave us inspiration. It is not for us to do whatever we want with it.
