Yuju took us back to the last song of GFriend in her Dalala video where she once again had close acquaintance with the disco glitter ball from that video. Butterflies were all over the microphone and stand and even stuck on the taxi she was taking which are symbolic of Buddies during her time in GFriend.
4:58 Yuju wrote and participated in composing almost all of her solo songs including Play and Dalala. She is not only an amazing singer but also a talented songwriter.
Part 2, which is the Gachana Line, would basically wish to be healthy though.
Yuju’s Mom is an English Teacher I believe. I think that’s where she learned it. Also Moonbin and SinB are childhood friends if you didn’t know.

Yay more solo stuff! Umji’s Lemon cover was crazy anticipated by buddies! She sang it live in a JP event once, and we nagged her for like 2 years to release a studio version cover. And she delivered!
SinB doesn’t get enough praise by kpop fans for her dancinc. She’s so clean! And her voice is really pretty too. Think she’s my third favorite voice in GFRIEND after Yuju and Yerin!
And Yuju’s solo stuff is crazy good. She writes and composes a lot of it herself. And works with Chancellor and MZMC a lot. Great bsides.
Her performance video of The Killa is amazing. And Without U is such an impressive ballad! Love the MV for it. Konnect does so much with limited budgets by their art direction. Yuju’s covers of Speechless, Downtown Baby, Out Of Time and Yoru Ni Kakeru are fire! And she did a great guesting on Begin Again last year where she covered IVE’s After Like, sang 2 duets, and gave is the Play ballad version! Also her OST Tell Me This Is Real os extra special, becausd it’s Sowon’s character’s theme from her debut acting role.
The showrunner asked Sowon to sing her own theme, but she requested that Yuju would do it. GFRIEND crumbs!!

Haven’t seen a grand gfriend performance in so long since the members haven’t really been getting invited to year end shows so to see Yuju’s sma performance made me kind of emotional ;-; always reminds me of how capable they are

For Sinb, well, we really need to hear more from her solo's stuff. SinB dance cover of Sweet But A Psycho is the reason Artist of the Month in Studio Choom happened. That's a Fact. Studio Choom announced it, that they will be having AOTM because how that dance cover went viral after its released, if you could see the views that explained why. As for her AOTM, yes it went viral but not as much, reason is because of the song choice, sokor is quite choosy well mainly its because of the song lyrics haba. 😒.
Anyway, regarding with SinB being the gfriend choreographer, yes, you're right, their previous company can't afford a house choreographer for gfriend, hence the choreographer would teach SinB the dance and she will teach it to her members. She's responsible also for their perfect synchronization, of course with the help of Sowon as being the leader. There's a compilation video of her, of how she teach her members, her being a scary dance teacher cause every time gfriend member have a mistake she caught it immediately haha...
And yes ,you're right, sinb is a perfectionist dancer. She's the cleanest and precise one. She once said that, she usually watched her own fancam to see how she did on their performance, but once she watched a fancam of other members is to see how they make mistakes haha...
She really have a leader personality. Others thought also she will be a great leader though she will deny it cause to her if she will become a leader, she would ruined the group haha...
Thanks for loving Sinb voice. She's underrated for that. Yes, she have quite few lines than the others but I guess, there's few who appreciated her vocal tone cause she don't tend to do bigger notes like others. I laughed when you say her voice is quite a hybrid one haha... though I can agree with you, her voice can be very versatile, hence some vocal reactors would put sinb into top 2 or 3 vocalist in gfriend because of her vocal tone and technique. Her voice is so lovely especially when there's such a minimal bgm on it or like acapella style, she outshine in that part. There's a video also where Eunha and others members agree, that SinB's voice or rather SinB who is the melody of the group or usually do the harmonizing one.
Her cover of Flower is for her Birthday Special hence she made that video. But, yeah its quite sad cause her voice is like an angel.
Sorry, I said too much.I'm such a fan of her and I think she has a great potential. But tbh, Sinb is quite shy, don't have that confident with her vocals even with her dancing sometimes. But I guess if you dive into VIVIZ she quite improved with her confidence.
And I'm really waiting for her to be on Lee Mujin Service haha... also yeah sinb has a great personality and fans love her for that. Being a savage and cute at the same time.
Ok, some info on Mina Myung and her relationship with SinB, Mina is a famous choreographer who worked with lot of artists like Mamamoo (like she did the choreo for GoGo Bebe). She teached dance to SinB and Umji during their free time for a little while. Mina did the choreography for 'Sweet, but psycho' as a own solo project a few years before. SinB asked her to do a dance collab with that song and Mina choreo so of course as SinB teacher. Now Mina is not with Studio Choom anymore and has her own Dance studio. Cool fact, for the 'Tap in' dance performance SinB had only 3 days to learn the choreo but as you can see the killed it all the same like it was nothing. Finally, yeah 'Wow, thing' is a very iconic collab and here too the girls had only 2-3 days to practice the full choreo together.
Edit: For GFRIEND since they were from a small company, it was like the choreographer was not always there or from their company so during choreo practice SinB and Sowon was the one who made sure that the other girls was on point and don't mess up and then they had to film the practice send it to the choreographer then get a reply later via texto or email.
Sinb's Studio Choom actually inspired AOTM. I love Sinb's style of dancing she's def one of my favourites even if she's not objectively the best
1:17:44 BnF stands for BPM n' Friends. It's basically a BPM family concert. At the event, Viviz performed their songs + Time for the moon night, they also had a collab stage with Soyou for Sistar's "Shake it".

I love that we get to hear more of Yuju's lower register since most of the Gfriend songs had her singing very high. Play is a masterpiece.
Also, Chungha is currently a solo artist but she was previously in I.O.I, which was a temporary group formed on Produce 101, WJSN's Yeonjung was also part of this group. Chungha's solo songs are amazing. My favorites being Snapping, Rollercoaster, Gotta Go, Stay Tonight, Play.

If you've already seen Yuju's 'secret' ost, next time you can try her other osts called "i'm in the mood for dancing" and "Tell me this is real" which is an ost for the cinedrama 'My chilling roommate' which has Sowon and iKon's Chanwoo as the main cast. So yeah, if you watch the official mv of the ost, you'll see Sowon's acting too! :)
I love all of these. She's got a lot of OSTs that's an all-time eargasm.
I have so much to say but I wil just say 3 things:
Yuju wrote all her songs (sokodomo wrote his part of the rap tho). She co composed Play and Peach Blossom. She whore and composed all by herself Dalala tho. She is very proud of that bc she said she just wanted to do it and the company was "oh cool, we will just make a single then". lol Btw Dalala is more about just vibing and enjoy music even when u are on a street or stress out. She is a very quiet person when she is not with the members too (same with sinb and eunha).
SINB is very had with herself and usually don't show all her talents (dance and vocal wise), I would like u reated to her singing in masked show or her collabs/duets with other Idols. Btw She danced with her house choreograpers at the moment in the tap in cover.
Yewon is very vocal about her love of music and covers so..yeah. She was the director, stilist, creative leader and everything u need in a team for her Lemon cover. She even draw to her directo how and where she wanted that cover. She herself put the japaneses/korean/english subtitles in the cover too. A genius.

SinB and Umji both lacked confidence and are kinda shy with their abilities in dancing and singing. It's been improving, though!
But I wish for more solo stuff for them (for all the girls, of course! Sowon, specially), since they have really nice sounding voices and they always were good dancers

Umji's lemon cover is soo good, it's my fav cover from her. She got a lot of praise from japanese people for her fluent japanese pronunciation, some even thought she was japanese or half japanese.

Sinb is a hip hop kinda girl before debuting into GFriend but since GFriend is like on the softer side in terms of sound the choreo must follow that sound but can still remain powerful
The company didn't want her to outshine her members which is understandable but like if you have a main dancer , let your main dancer be main dancer.
Idk if anyone has told you this, but umji actually released an OST pretty early into their career. It’s called “the way” she’s performed it live one time to my knowledge. And it’s the first time I ever heard her sing in a full chest voice, I had never heard her do it before and I was legitimately shocked, even to this day, she mostly sings in a thinner style (which I love, it’s her thing) but it was so cool to know that she’s capable of doing a fuller chest voice style
1:08:24 Chungha was on the first season of Produce 101 and earned a spot in the group I.O.I that came out of the show. Now she has asuccessful solo career. My favorite song of hers is Snapping (:
Yerin's solo debut 'Aria' was released on the same date as the news of gfriend's 'D' incident came out (5.18)
Well, yeah about Umji, she's always been kind of shy, more like in a more modest, humble way. Also if i remember well that concert was during the first year of Viviz in BPE so sing with a older label mate and also a sunbae can maybe be a little stressful but as the pro idol that she is became less nervous as the song go.
'Twenty-one' is a cover of IU song 'Twenty-three' but since Umji was 21 she changed the lyrics to twenty-one lol and with that cover we had a little taste of cute sexy Umji before Viviz.

Yuju has participated in all her songs from her solo debut, whether it's in composition or lyrics (and both as well, which is in fact the case for Play, Peach Blossom and DALALA). Play is totally her style and REC is still my fav album from all the ones that have been released from any Gfriend memeber since the contract termination. Peach Blossom is from another album (O) but it's one of my favs as well, especially the stage performance; the rapper Sokodomo appears as well and he's good, but most of the time it's just her with her voice and her gaze alone fills the stage. You need to listen to The Killa, it's her best song in my opinion, the lyrics are good, the vocals are amazing, and the song has this sad, dark and sensual vibe that is like intoxicating but in a very good way. Her latest cover is Santa Tell Me by Ariana Grande and she does some whistle notes, runs and belts there, just in case you want to check it out. Speechless and Downtown Baby are also amazing covers from her.
I agree with what you say about SinB's style, she's very good and technical and precise, and she memorizes choreos quickly and used to help the members with that a lot. Mina Myoung said she loved working with SinB the most. She's honeslty mesmerizing to watch when she dances, and you can tell how great she is when in some of the Gfriend blindfolded dances she even positions Eunha when she notices she's not in the right spot (with a mask on!). Her voice is very beautiful too, like very clean and pure, and it's so true what you say about Gfriend's unique tones. The performance she's singing with Kang Hongseok is from Masked Singer and it's called Scar Deeper Than Love.
Lemon was a very awaited cover, her voice is so lovely to hear. Umji has a very honey-like and distinctive tone as well, with some emotional and Disney princess-like vibe to it (she actually loves singing Disney), which is somehow very fitting to her energy and personality; but sometimes, in many gf bsides, it's actually sexy (to me Yuju, Eunha and Umji have the sexiest tones when they sing those kind of songs). In the concert, she's singing IU's Twenty-Three, she's kind of close to her actually. One of my fav covers by Umji is Put The Records On, her voice suits that type of songs a lot and she even edited the video herself and had her brother record it, it's cute.

Aside from Sowon somehow it feels like sinb barely has any content ;-; it’s gotten better in the past few years but we still barely have any solo stuff from her which always makes me sad because she clearly has so much talent. I think her vocals are really starting to shine in viviz latest albums so I really hope you’ll find time to react to them :)

I love another clip of Yuju called Rewind. Yuju writes the most of her songs. Sinb is really a perfeccionist. Is true, Sinb is like Gfriends dancer teacher. Sinb usually likes to dance to hip hop, she makes alot of covers with Umji. Sinb kinda addepted the choreos of Gfriend to fit to them when they become a new choreo.

Sinb's 'Flower' cover was dropped on her birthday (June 3), 50:34 she turned 25
For most of her solo songs, Yuju wrote and co-composed all her title tracks and lot of her b-sides, if i remember well she participated in the production too. So a very talent artist indeed. I will comments as i watch the video to give infos if needed so be sure to check for my comments lol

SinB’s a pretty solid dancer. There’s no other kpop dancer who has as much attention to detail (timing, shapes, angles, musicality, precision, etc.). But she does lack in energy and strength, probably due to spending so many years prioritizing synchronization.

I think Yuju wrote 85% of all her solo works. During gfriend days, she also co-wrote some of gfriend's songs.

Sinb vocals is underrated and underappreciated.
The reason why I love sir Austin is because he is not ' overacting ' like other reactors. I mean I've seen some like when they hear the first note they will go "waaahhh" something like that. And i find it overacting.
Sinb doesn't have enough solo stuff, singing and dancing wise. But she have ost's and early gfriend days sinb have dance collabs...but yeah she's still doesn't have solo stuff which is frustrating sometimes. Basically they said that her previous company that she got restricted by doing some solo stuff.
For sweet but phycho, i remember that sinb doesnt have confident to perform alone, thats why she perform with mina young. Correct me if im wrong..,
