Really good video, thanks for sharing. I tried to do this today but it rained most of it. I didn't want to risk coming down the front of parkhouse so I went back and then around the side. In the rain the mud just moves under your feet and as you pointed out the rock is as slippy as it gets. Still a good day. Lovely seeing your pictures of what its like when the cloud line is higher than the ridge :-) thanks for the photo tips as well. Its great to see the theory in practice so thanks for the demo.

Another stunning video, photos and you and Denise are really a great team and add humor to things. I always enjoy a good chuckle when you call Denise “the good wife” on your walks!
Both your personalities really set a positive tone to the photo videos! Thanks for all of it!

Done this a couple of years ago- pre Covid, and yes it is very slippy! The reason being is that it is a limestone outcrop and limestone is one of the slippiest rocks, especially when wet. Great care is needed here. Great video which shows the effort you put in. Thanks! 😊

Nothing wrong with shooting hand held.Just spent a week in Skye and things change so fast I always had the camera on me lap driving around. No one would ever know the difference unless you mention the fact.I really enjoy a bit of run and gun photography.Another cracking informative video.👍🏻👍🏻

As someone who does quite a lot of walking that looks a great location for a hike Paul. Due to a slight heart condition I struggle up the hills and tend to stick to the the lower/flatter walks these days. Judging by the way you were puffing and panting I think I would have required a defibrillator strapped to my back.
I know the photography on this occasion was secondary, however you still produced some lovely images again and it just goes to show that we don't always require a tripod to take great photos.
I'm sure the walk will have done you the world of good as it is so important for our general wellbeing. Believe me I have been in a similar situation to you and to be honest the demons never leave us entirely but they can be managed and what you are doing goes hand in hand with the medicine the doctors prescribe. I'm certain you don't, but never forget the most important person in your life, she just followed you up that hill and came down it on her backside and if that isn't devotion I don't know what is.
    Stay safe, both of you👍

'The Quiet Woman', no comment, definitely no comment. Nice person your missus.
What a stunning landscape. I really have to make a holiday of the Peak District sometime. However I think I'll wait until all the present nastiness is over and we have a solid vaccine under our belts.
There's a good point here to be made about matching the footwear to the underlying geology. More importantly the type of sole/tread on the footwear. Some terrain suits heavy hard soles, some softer rubbery, trail shoes can sometimes be safer than boots. Plus the less you carry the less strain you put on the old ticker to pump oxygen.
Anyway, keep smiling, with or without the happy pills. Talking and walking works better than long term medication that masks symptoms. The answer is ultimately to make lifestyle changes and de-stress those real-world pressures, get those self-imposed 'demons' off your back. Take care :-)

i had a few people saying about the adds, its not my fault how many... CZcams do what they like, if i say no to any adds they will not promote my videos and people will not see them, i only get a choice of yes or no, not how many. Its upsetting CZcams putting so many in, i think its because my videos are longer so they get more chances to put them in
