Hmm, as usual, CZcams makes the video slightly faster than the audio. That sucks. It's only a millisecond or two... but I notice. I'm very timing-critical. Sigh.
First off, I apologize for being so scarce with my uploads. I'm about to graduate from college and I've had a lot of "life" things to figure out first!
I'm also in the process of getting ready to go on a 4 day trip... and missing 3 days of school to go to a concert that's 3 hours away by flight }:D Yeah... I'm spoiled.
I wanted to get this video done before I left in order to treat those of you who have been waiting! Thank you all so much for your support and patience!
BUT ANYWAY, WEW, THIS THING IS FINALLY DONE.
This video was a nice project to work on... until the render. Vegas never renders the little built-in stars right... and the subtle flashing effect around the edges and on various clips first rendered at like 500% the original brightness compared to what I had it set for, for whatever reason. It took many screenshots and render attempts to get everything to render closely to what I had originally created in the Vegas preview window. Ah, Vegas. I love you, but I hate you sometimes.
... I also rendered in 35 Mbps, this file is quite huge. But my small border stars would mess up the quality on the clips underneath at the default Mbps setting... so let's hope CZcams doesn't screw with my quality :3
I probably could have done better with some parts of the pan/crop, but it was actually really hard, I tried forever to get those right :C But the render time for the whole video was 2 hours and 19 minutes and I did that twice already D:
This is a project that I wanted to get done for a long time, so I'm happy to have it finally completed! Especially after my rendering issues, it's a blessing to have it come out as I wanted it to in the end. Cheers!
... You guys, I'm so close to 10,000 subs ... I hope I can make something adequate for next time. LOL.

I seem to edit in an older style most of the time. I guess I like the charm of styles like this, and primarily letting the clips tell the story instead of the effects! :)

Okay so thoughts on this video is that it's a very interesting style you have got going on. I'm seeing the very plain video with no sparkles and mainly focusing on the lyrics of the video itself with a simple fabric overlay over the top similar to videos from 2009-2011. Then I'm seeing lots of flashes and zooms and colours and sparkles like in 1:02 which reminds me of your animash over it back over 50 years ago and it reminds me of the era of animash from 2012-2015 when people were experimenting with colours but also experimenting with their style and going outside of the norm but also missing the original editors style. And finally the clip choice and the text font style you used is of the 2016-2017 style of animash. It's really interesting and impressive how you put an animash together using different elements of the different trends over the years of animash into a song from 2009 and made it all work and flow together really well. It was a great mixture of nostalgia and modern ideas and styles forming together to make a really great animash xxxx well done!! ❤️😍💙
XD I didn't even think about those things, but I think you're right! I'm typically an editor that focuses highly on clip meaning first... and THEN I worry about the effects XD I don't follow mainstream styles, I like to make each video unique based on personal preference. Basically I construct videos based on how I feel and what turns out well in my experimentation, not by what other people feel is currently a 'trending style.' I think this is why it appears that my old styles have blended together in this one :)

BlackbuckTwilightify personally I adore it when people take the time to write out such in depth comments so when I feel it is necessary or when I have really enjoyed something I will Essay XD I can't tell you how fantastic it is to hear and see that you're an editor that thinks about the clips first and the rest later since I've seen so many new editors to the animash and anime community and they just add flashy effects - it annoys me because I know they are trying but not in the right department. So really well done! I love this animash and the jumble of different styles and animash trends within it - can't wait for your next one xox
I totally agree! I often see fantastic new editors who have great potential when it comes to effects and style... but then I concentrate on the clips chosen with the lyrics of the song and it doesn't fit at all :( If they would focus their attention a bit more on clip choice, then they'd really be amazing editors! It's a shame... but hopefully with time and experience they will become more aware of their clip choices and pick more appropriate scenes. I hope so XD ♥
