Well done! Smith Wigglesworth died in 1947. William Branham had a visitation from an angel in 1946 and was told to take healing to the nations. He inspired other ministers such as T.L Osborn and Oral Roberts. The Voice of Healing revival took off in 1947. David du Plessis was a bridge builder and promoter of ecumenism. I became born-again in 1974 in spite of being raised in the Catholic Church (I had never heard about being born-again there). I attended a couple of Catholic Charismatic meetings and the power Of God was very strong in those days. I later left the Catholic Church because so many of their doctrines contradict scripture, but I believe that God is going to move through that denomination in a mighty way once again.
Dennis and Rita Bennett's book, The Holy Spirit and You was given ho me and led to my baptism in the Holy Spirit and to much healing for me, and to others around me, too.
I had no idea Harold Bredeson had been a Lutheran. He was so powerful. I was raised as a Lutheran, Wisconsin Synod. At that time, they were *very* outspoken against Pentecostalism. I don't know if they've opened up more to it, now. I was saved off the street in the Jesus Movement. My mother said she prayed for me that I'd come back to the Lutheran church.

After much research into the doctrine it's clearly unscriptural and was never ever taught or ever heard of in the early church . It's a recent invention of the 1800s by American preaches . It is difficult when believers are told that certain scripture is no longer for today. If you are taught to disbelieve the bible while setting yourself up as a beacon of truth on the bible that is very difficult to overcome. It's almost best if you come to the bible with no religious background.

Until that day, at the age of 28, no one had ever witnessed to me, face to face, about Christ Jesus. 18 months later, I was baptized in the Holy Spirit and spoke in a language I had never learned or heard. I had not been taught about the need to recieve the Holy Spirit, (because you will not find it being taught in a Southern Baptist Church,) BUT I had avoided the church's teaching against the baptism in the Holy Spirit. My point is that my lack of Bible knowledge, SADLY! was likely an advantage. I am now a pastor. The longer I live the more that I am convinced that tradition, right now in 2023, is making the Word of God of no effect. Even our Eschatology (which has become a doctrinal requirement for fellowship in many baptist churches) has the wrong fruit. Why are all the "good verses" for the milleium and the consecration/holiness verses only legalism from the past no longer applicable today. I know I am preaching to "the choir" but how did we get here? I read accounts of baptist believer from 150 years ago and forward in history, they were on fire. Here is my question: I find this one fact (to me) that keeps coming up: the moment denominations formed into political power groups, something changed. Yes as the end of the video states many in traditional denominations began to be filled with the Holy Spirit. As for Du Plessis he was used mightily in seeing many filled with the Spirit. A good start to learn more would be reading a Man Called Mr Pentecost by David Du Plessis :-)

Wigglesworth prophecized over Sumrall and said he would see the ‘greatest revival in history’ in his lifetime too. Sumrall has shared that story many times and in a 1987 video was still expecting it. It didn’t happen though in his life. Likewise, DuPlessis received a similar prophecy from Wigglesworth, that there would be a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit and historic revival. I mean, beyond a few denominational leaders speaking in tongues. One would expect a full turning to Christ, on a massive scale and coming out of Catholicism for example. I know he was ecumenical and felt called to bring denominations together. David Wilkerson, who I greatly admired, would be considered Pentecostal as well. His end times ‘Vision’ was not proclaiming this great worldwide revival everyone talks about. Have you read or listened to his ‘Vision’? It’s very powerful. Anyway, I’m very cautious of anyone saying ‘thus saith the Lord’, unless we have a means to test what is being said. 🙏

@@Gerrard_yardy Amen, the soon rapture of the church will bring about the ones who will finally realize they were wrong not to believe in Jesus Christ as their Messiah, sadly at the expense of their lives, becoming the tribulation Saints, as they will have to choose between worshipping Jesus Christ or Satan. and his Mark of the Beast, I pray they choose Jesus Christ Amen🙏
