- We're back with some more Master Duel showcasing Dark Magician and featuring Floodgates! Floodgates are cards with continuous effects that restrict one or both players from performing certain actions. It is an effective way of stalling the game to set up your board. Half of my wins and most of my comebacks against the current meta are thanks to the timely use of these cards.

I finally figured out why you were right to not play timaeus the united dragon, imduk and starleader can make fusions just as easily while still only requiring 2 cards... Infact it has the added bonus of not having to sacrifice artemis/rod or salvation. Good thinking Ddoge!
All good! At the end of the day, everyone has got their own playing style. I don’t rely too much on dark magician the dragon knight so there are better cards for me to use than united dragon.

Ive tried this deck😂dammmn, its fun. The combo were allign really well. I think its originally for superheavy samurai counter😂the gozen match and rivarly of the warlord is the key card to counter anything. You're genius. I think the link 1 induk still can be improved. If you have improved this deck without induk please post it😢
@@ROWGZ haha I’m glad you enjoyed it. That’s a good point about imduk. I think a second copy of dharc would be very handy. I’ll have to test it out more first!
@@Ddoge2024 artemis is a good bait to retrieve the rod back, its a small loop. But imduk, nah you can't even create imduk with rod. I think one dharc is enough, because we cant really use dharc against light monster. I have issue with summoning baron my friend, idk how to summon him.
@@ROWGZ I used to use imduk a lot when I relied on dark magician the dragon knight more. Dharc second effect to search a dark monster in your deck is handy but I rarely get to use it since I only run one copy. Baron is situational when you have a spare copy of ash blossom to use as a tuner.
Have you considered Summon Limit for even more floodgates?
It locks you into two summons as well but you can just flip it on their turn
Not sure what you could cut for it, maybe Preparation?
Summon limit is a good one although it can get popped easily with cards like knightmare pheonix that only require 2 monsters to summon.
You could replace bricky cards like piercing the darkness or even eye of timaeus.
@@Ddoge2024I’ve been testing and I found the best cut was actually both the Raigeki
Raigeki is just negation bait and almost every monster now is either immune or floats to effect destruction
I just removed both Raigeki for Summon Limit, and honestly sometimes people just scoop on the Summon Limit resolution on their turn
It also benefits immensely from DM the Dragon Knight making it immune alongside Eternal Soul

How was he able to activate spellcards when you had a spellcaster?
Your op can use spells if they have a spellcaster on their field or you currently control no spellcasters.
Quem is spellcaster, so he can activate spell
How do you summon dark magician with dragon without a dragon?
Through imduk or starleader dragon. Both are dragon link monsters which are quite easy to summon.
Wait why weren't the cards destroyed at 7:29?
Chaos Angel's effect protects dark monsters from being destroyed by battle 🙌

It’s all strategic. Sometimes it’s to stall without losing life points, sometimes I want them to destroy my monster, sometimes it’s to prevent them running into my monster to destroy theirs and activate an effect.
Some games you have to be patient until you can take them out in one battle phase.
@@Ddoge2024 that's true but for example putting your dragon knight to defense while he could simply destroy it with a monster attack could be really bad for your back line, luckily he didn't idk why but yes.
@@truqzztv3848are you talking about 4:00 against snake eyes? I didn’t want them to destroy their last diabellstar by running into my dragon knight and use a different attribute since Gozen match was on the field and limiting them.
