  • Ford Mondeo mk4 rear pads & disc change, well what a pig of a job i make this one look, lol. Either way i got the job done and works fine. This is how i work when i have a lot on my mind, i can not concentrate.
Anyway all the pads and disc's are replaced and I will keep an eye on the driver side caliper pads to check for uneven wear again and maybe replace the caliper or even refurb this one as it is something i would like to do.

Well i am hoping this is the last video on mk4 for awhile, so work can resume on the ST220 now. So the Mk4 is now MOT ready, i hope lol. But now back to the ST220 content.

Great video ,a couple of things though,I use a wire brush to clean the hub and bolts so the disc fits true and also anti size compound on the ends of the pads other than that great vidio

my thoughts exactly uneven wear maybe due to dry guides i would have unbolted the caliper aswell and greased the slide bolts aswell as pad ears and as youve changed the discs and pads he might aswell of changed the two pad guides aswell

I always do the slider pins on all my brakes I suspect the pins in this video were bone dry and haven't been greased myself

    Hi Chazz
I just bought a 1.8 tdci 2009. I just learned it has a wet belt. Have you done yours?

Went to change mine and the disc is practically welded to the hub. Spent over an hour trying to get it off but no luck.

Learnt from that one 😂😂 just common sence pal to do the retaining screw first, also if forgotten just get bar between the studs then take it off some of these CZcams mechanics seriously 😂😂😂😂
