"Life is the guru, life is constantly calling you like the beloved into its arms, inviting you to.....surrender ". This is a very meaningful quote for me.
Thanks for sharing your journey home. Mine has a few similar themes. There was depression and LSD. Im happy now. I have dropped the personal separate self. All those years of suffering has ended.
The story is very useful! I understand with the detachment, ekhart seems to view his own story the same way.
It's reassuring to know you dealt with life, and the same struggles. It is comforting to know that you faced the same things and they didn't break you for the rest of your earthside existance. That you can do it means maybe I can, that there is some hope. Thank you for sharing ❤
I really appreciated you sharing your experience....thank you.
Thank You for sharing these developments, so interesting 🙏🏼❤️✨
that was very touching Amod!
Wonderful, thank you
Your story mirrors mine almost word for word (aside from the running lol) I'm still in deep depression, despair & panic. Driving myself mad because it's like "I'm" holding on by a blade of grass 😢
Try Eckhart Tolle, The Power of Now.
Let go
I can empathize as I too seem to be caught in an almost constant whirlpool of "deep depression, despair & panic". According to all the enlighten teachers (and certainly Amoda Maa) this is the doorway; the darkness yearning for the purifying light of our silent and open conscious-awareness. Easier said than done as the darkness (for lack of a better word) can be utterly terrifying, and has likely been something we have run from for years, decades or even life-times. My prayer is for the courage to stop running and instead open wider to it all in welcoming kindness and the intimate light and warmth of awareness.
Good luck.
Vivekananda used to say that "Experience is your best teacher", I think that's what she means by saying that Life is your Guru.
"I don't know how useful telling a story is" - It is very useful! When you spoke of the abyss... This is so familiar. I have the feeling that this is where I have been stuck at. In the past I have picked up the idea that the I can't do anything about getting into the I-less state, which was good for the time being, but it doesn't feel "right" anymore. Just like you I have experienced surrender through loss, but I never ever tried to surrender consciously, because I believed it is impossible. But now that you said it... it definitely rings a bell. Now I feel that the I-less experiences that I had were given to me, just so I can taste them, but the final decision is mine. It seems absurd, but maybe the I should actually chose its own end.
Beautiful Atanas! That's exactly it!
How does the "i" choose its own end?
@@chrisjohnssolarcross It's not a choice where you make something happen, rather a conscious surrender to the fact that 'I' as a person don't really exist. You choose what is already so
@@wilma8326 how do you know it is so? How do you surrender to an idea?
interesante las xperiencias desta mujer en su vida, muy interesantes🙏
I am very grateful for this video. Thank you! Love!
Wow, I discover many similarities to my life :O
Gracias, si lo pudieras traducir al español.
Hi Jorge, we have asked the Spanish translator to try and do this. Thanks for the question.
Thank you very much for replying but translation is poor...
Muchas gracias por responder pero los subtitulos no son muy claros...

Where is she from?? I cant distinguish the accent.
She is English
I do appreciate it when people share their full story. I agree our individual experiences vary depending on various factors. For me, this account was too evasive and distancing. Both in choice of language and content. There are interesting elements but I'm not comfortable. She's holding back.
Teachers often do.
In this video, she talks more about her childhood/family dynamics :czcams.com/video/hapq1wB2pHM/video.html
I do not see it that way at all,,, I just encountered the video,,, I do not know who she is,,, but in listening to her talk it felt very real and honest to me, the video is not that long but she said a lot.
Because we are not our narratives. It's hard to recap one's own narrative of self when one is no longer committed to it. So whenever it's done, it's always for the other.
Hi @@ruthordonez2678 I preferred your video suggestion, thank you 🥰
😘👸🍀
Gracias, pero los subtitulos en ingles y en español son confusos y no se entiende bien lo que esta diciendo. Mil gracias ,otros vídeos si los he podido entender pero este no.
We have a Spanish translator but he is very busy so we are waiting for him to do the translation. Thank you for your patience.
De acuerdo,muchas gracias.

I . I. I ......enlightened ? .....don’t think so....
Awakening and enlightenment are 2 different things. Few Enlightened beings stay in their bodies after that experience. =) maybe 1%
Just to add something. You can attain it through action, devotion or awareness/perception.
