Even or only? This works no where else. Imagine going to Mexico and speaking English with a Mexican accent. It's hard to imagine that scenario ending with being praised for "speaking Spanish" lol So interesting what can be considered mockery in one culture, can be considered praise in another.

KILIG is giddiness, thrilled, excited. Just few words synonymous to this Filipino word. Keep in mind that it's a Tagalog slang. Back street words are also commonly used and accepted. I'm glad she could speak the language. We shouldn't be surprised. I myself met a Chinese girl speaking fluent Hindi and a Japanese guy speaking flawless Spanish. It's one's desire to learn.
