21:18 The marshalls and medics said they were churning up the course as it was too smooth, but we all know they were holding the 4th round of the secret 'Over 40's Semi Professional Bi-Annual Safety Vehicle Mud Oval Championships' sponsored by Seabrooks Crisps. A favourite of mine.
In my marshalling days at Donington we had to deal with mallards, geese and once a swan, but that is the first pheasant. Mallards were more of a problem at Mallory.
We had to deal with hot air balloons and gliders at Snet.
And Jimmy Broadbent is planning to race his MX5. He'll fit right in!

@@Ali4994 I think they were trying to line the cars up in their grid positions and that car went before being told.

yep ginettas are only in project cars but they are really good cars
A lot of the time we don't get to see damage like that in Video Games is because of licensing issues.

@@jimmywim Nah. It was dead the moment the first year ended. They never did enough differently with it, they alienated all the fans and a load of the teams. It's been on life support for a season or two now

anyone any idea why the clio was pissed at the Marshall? 10:37 not his fault you didn't pin your bonnet down, yeah took time to get down but didn't exactly look in the most pristine condition
I thought the marshall's hand signal was very appropriate. A pity the tosser didn't see it unless he watched this video.
Dozens and dozens of different formulae, styles and surfaces, love it. You can tell why so many F1 teams are based in Britain.

Balloons floating across the track, Meh! Its when you see a hot air balloon trying to land during a race and just missing the pit garages, as happened at Snetterton during the 12hr Birkett anniversary race.
Why did the pheasant cross the track? Because he was too posh to be seen with the road crossing chickens.

Well I can see the British love their motorsports because there are so many different classes and cars, from minis to strange midgets but damn most races are in the rain. That's sucks.

That clio phase 2 was on watch dog for the bonnet flying open on the normal road car
I got a letter from Renault (as all Clio II owners did) in 2013 with an addendum to the owners' manual showing how to maintain the bonnet catch, mine had already been replaced though.
19:03 - Did they just punish #293 for the stuff that #751 was doing? Only thing #293 did was a rough pass. #751 practically spent laps repeatedly hitting #293 in the back, even under caution.
By the looks of it the official was asking 293 what happened. I would imagine the official told 751 to fuck off to the pits
293 was in trouble for ignoring the White flag with red cross which is an instruction to pull off the track as there is something wrong with your car in that case a loose rear wheel guard.
I like their little sprint or outlaw type cars with the bumper car things.

That's sadly not always a good thing though. We've been saying for years that its diluting the entry lists badly

The last time I saw an ice cream truck on a racetrack was about 5-6 years ago. I know because my dad, my uncles and I were driving that ice cream truck on given racetracks.
Racing on gravel, dirt, mud, fine. Tiny bit of clay in the mix; still racing but no-one can steer.
0:03 - If I have this right, the Black #555 was at fault for running into the back of the Green vehicle ahead and then attempting to go around them while still under the pace, which caused contact in the other row and #214 to flip over.

They did have road tyres - which aren't for off-roading. Hence the sliding about. But, come on. Sliding is fun.
It was actually to dry the track after rain stopped running at the Radford MAP Open. Genius little idea by the club and very funny to watch

Why does Britain produce so many F1 drivers and F1 champions? More F1 champions than France, Germany, Italy and Brazil combined. Italy hasn't produced an F1 champion since 1953. Amazing stat. It's certainly not a sport that is unique to those islands, so why?

This pretty much is the British and Dutch version of sprint car racing. The Australians and New Zealanders also run something very similar. The skills translate to a sprint car pretty well
I had some Matchbox cars like that. At risk of showing my age, weren't they called Stock Cars? I think the BBC/ITV used to show them in the 70s along with the motorcycle Speedway racing?
