It's not on purpose He was born in Jamaica and raised in Miami dade duh!
My kids say the same thing about me. Depending on the discussion or my mood, my accents come in and out!! It's not intentional at all.

What a culture shock for him to go to Miami. Sounds like the rest of the family left him to the wolves (the older ones) smh. Shame to bring children into such messy situations. I admire him for rising above it. So humble and down to earth.
