Summer's finally here and it's time to fully soak in the outdoors! :) This time around we are collaborating with @decathlon_india - your one stop shop for everything outdoors. All i want is another soul trail like series from them. 😊
back in August 2019, I was biking all the way to Tso Moriri via Tanglang la when the weather got too bad and every dhabas on the way warned me about accidents and landslides. That's when i decided to pitch my tent for the night out in the open, a few kms away from this small village called Rumtse. Some villagers noticed me and my drenched clothes. I was only carrying camping gear and camera backpack. I didn't know i would be stuck in bad weather, without telephone signal in a remote place for 3 days. Although i went off on a solo adventure, in reality i was never alone.
All throughout my time in that camp, I had people from the village visit me for some tea, light snacks. A man even offered me to stay in his house! but I really wanted the thrill and excitement of a camp, so when i denied he got me extra blankets and some basic clothes!

I moved abroad now, but you brought back the memories. I feel heartbroken and happy at the same time. Damn, I really i miss the kind-hearted humble friendly people, warm hospitality and the freedom to pitch my tent anywhere. Love from Europe.

Everytime this channel goes without a new video for 3-4 weeks, I say to myself that next time they post I'm gonna comment and request them to do more. But then you guys come up with something like this. All the frustrations go for a toss and it breathes a new life. Just so soothing and easy on the eye. It flows like a river. Hi Ronnie Da and Barty, your videos are so special and beautiful. I and my granny (thulo ama) watched all your videos together but she recently passed away at the age of 89. This is my first video of you guys I watched without her. This video made me miss her so much. I know she would have loved this one also like she always did. I missed her commentary and the comments she passed as if you guys could hear her "oyee be careful'', "chiso lagcha hola (you'll catch cold)''. Thank you for making such wonderful videos for us. I grew up in Far North Queensland, Australia, enjoying the rainforests and pristine tropical beaches. Because my father was a well known boat skipper, I got to experience the Great Barrier Reef and all its tropical islands between Rockhampton all the way up to the top of the Torres Strait islands....and I experienced all of this in the late 1980s and early 1990s, when it was all still pristine. It was just like a postcard....total tropical paradise and amazing diving on the Great Barrier Reefs.....it was all so amazing and picturesque, that I never thought could be rivalled....you guys however, are enjoying scenery that absolutely can rival the scenery that I got to enjoy as a kid. It's equally as postcard picturesque and absolutely amazing, untouched nature at its absolute most majestic. Experiencing those mountains for a few months is now on my bucket list, along with Greenland, Iceland, Finland, Northern Canada and Norway to see the volcano's and the Aurora Borealis.
This planet has some truly amazing scenery....and this amazing place, that you two get to enjoy and are awesome enough to share with us all, is definitely in the top few most incredibly beautiful places that our mother Planet Earth has to offer.
Please share their vlogs as much as possible. They deserve to have millions of subscribers.

You are absolutely right !! Decathlon has brought so much of change in everyone's perception towards the outdoors adventure. We had been trekking in the Himalayas for the last 3 decades now and earlier had always admired westerners with their clothing, shoes, trekking equipment etc with an envy. But now since 9years or so we have everything for outdoor adventures from Decathlon. Thanks to them. And it is affordable also.
