I'm really not digging that the Dardanelles are just open for the Italian fleet to go sailing into the Black Sea... that's just not realistic at all unless Turkey were dragged into the war.

Idk. It was an optional rule in 1942 2nd Ed I do believe. Italy being able to sail into the black sea, though maybe not realistic, it's hardly a game changer move.

It is actually a game changer. And they don't have to do it to be a game changer. The fact that Russia has to prepare against it is bad enough.

Nobody can enter that sea zone. It's clearly stated in the rule book.

Why would you concern yourself with the imbalanced 42 setup for anniversary, when you got a perfectly well balanced 41 setup? I am confused.

      Since when is 1942 unbalanced?

Good summary but nothing about actual Builds and where to Move. I'd say build 1 Artillery with 2 Infantry until your money runs out and build them as far forward as you can. Have as many units in the fight as you can. Priority is always to block German and Italian tanks combining their moves to attack Moscow. Also, enemy Infantry should be attacked because they are very valuable to enemy as fodder. Your other job is to get Britain to build up fleet and transports and land as many men in Baltic / Poland as soon as possible. Maybe run some tanks to help you out from India. And they can also lend you fighters to help in Karelia.
