- Speech by Bobby Seale, chairman of the Black Panther Party, at the Free Huey Newton rally held at the Oakland Auditorium on February 17, 1968 on Newton's birthday. Seale goes over the Black Panther Party's list of demands for the black community, praises Newton's teachings and contributions to the Party and rallies the audience to defend themselves against the racist power structure.
Imagine if Fred Hampton wasn’t killed, Imagine if COINTELPRO never happened, Imagine the Panthers linked race and class and built coalitions with workers movements across color lines across the globe. Imagine how many people would be living better lives with more justice, freedom, equality and democracy.

Chairman Seale, ThankYou for reminding us that Heuy was intelligent, for his people, cute, too. See, people focus on the fact, that in his later years, he went wayward, he was human; but nevertheless, he loved the people. Panther Party did a whole hell of alot of good for the community, we need to regain that spirit.
