    The analogy about the wheels spinning backwards is flawed. It's not because your eyes are a sampling system (although they are in another sense), but because the film that recorded it was.

    I don't understand how the blue wave is faster at 100kHz but looks slower due to a slow sampling rate. Wouldnt the blue signal be slow than the red one?

    Tip: Don't look at the slides as per the presentation, instead look at it as per the audio.
