Ingoldmells Hidden Rides ... Hunt for the Random Waltzer + Luna Park Fun Fair ... August 2022

- Welcome back to the vlog, Ingoldmells has a variety of scattered attractions including some not exactly easy to find, So..We went on a hunt! Luna Park is easy to find, right of the road from Fantasy Island and is a token Fun Fair, Only home to a few machines including a Reverse Bungie, A Well themed Rotor, Set of Dodgems and a Waltzer! tokens are 10 for £10 with the Rotor costing 2, waltzer 3, Dodgems 4 & Bungie 10! Sadly for our trip the Rotor was out of action, But we started our adventure of Ingoldmells walking to the beach for a go on the signature BIG WHEEL, only £5 pp and got about 5 laps, Got to see the many many caravans that Ingoldmells has to offer including a good view of Fantasy Island Theme park.
Then the hunt began, The LazerBlazer waltzer, I was told it's in a random car park and also it doesn't open until late but we thought we'd have a look anyway so walked down across the seafront and finally found it located next to the arcades and inflatables BUT .... closed! Feeling deflated we got the land train back up to Luna park and did a couple of rides before getting a papa johns.

You definitely need to get yourself to HULL fair and Nottingham goose. These machines are at there peak on those grounds.
If your impressed with it in a random carpark just imagine it there 😎. Plus you have 3 of the best watlzers in the country at HULL that being Richmond's Lazerblazer , Evans atmosphere creator and athas watlzer. Easy the 3 best in the country.
My family still haven’t forgiven me for dragging them all the way from Berwick upon Tweed to Burntisland just so I could visit the fair.

While in Southern California a few years ago we took a day trip into Hollywood to visit the gallery of my favorite artist but when we arrived it was closed for some reason. Much like this Waltzer was for you, that was a destination I really wanted to see.

Richmonds lazerblazer is a regular on Walton street approach to hull fair every year of which there are seven waltzers to choose from always packs the punters in as it’s always happy hour at £1.50 per person ,,,great lights & music when open at hull looks totally different,,,you need to go to hull just to ride athas hellraiser waltzer ,,possibly the fastest & loudest in the uk ,,,loads of videos of both machines at hull on CZcams,,,glad you enjoyed it ,,,now to try it at full throttle at hull 👍🏽

The mobility scooter capital of the UK is actually Disablethorpe (Mablethorpe) just down the road 🙂
Skeg Vegas and Disablethorpe have been my holiday destinations for over 50 years, as I live locally, but the best Waltzer was always the EVANS which came to the Hull and Lincoln fairs. It was amazing even back in the 80's and 90's, and it's just the same now although the name changed to 'atmosphere creator'.
Richmonds waltzer used to be on ingoldmells “where Luna park is now” used to be so much louder and better when it was on there

Hate the Waltzers but have always been fascinated by them. Unfortunately they always do me in proper now. I remember the first ever one I went on years ago at Drayton Manor I think and it was an indoor one, all pitch black. The one they used to have at Brean was good before it burnt down I think? Off season. That was the rumour anyway.

Looks like you had a good time! Should go to Bury St Edmunds fair. All the rides are running very good and long cycles for a wristband fair! All the cycles I had were over 6 mins the waltzer is very fast

The waltzer use to belong to Arthur silcock’s then it was at golden sands haven holiday park in mablethorpe for a good few years then left there and came to Ingoldmells,the silcock’s sign at the top of his sizzler pay box came from the waltzer when he sold it
It was built for Collins then went to harry sharland were raymond Richmond bought it
