The boat was built with the best materials and the best shipbuilding techniques available. The plywood was Canadian Pine and half a ton of high quality Epoxy Resin.
The hulls was painted with an original Coppercoat.
There are very well constructed and glassed water tanks under the floors of the two hulls, painted with special paint for drinking water.
There is a refrigerator of approximately 120l built in the structure of the boat, for better use of space.
There are 3 tanks above the sinks in the kitchen, the toilet and the suite, very well glassed and painted with paint for drinking water as well.
The Dedpod has a huge space to accommodate up to 8 people comfortably, see photos.
The wood used in the decks is Cedar Rose for export, a wood that is no longer sold today.
A holding tank was built for internacional cruising.
There is a Wind Vane built just to be installed.
The roof of the Deckpod is a light but very resistant structure due to its curved shape.
It receives two 400W solar pannels a 100kg man can climb up for maintenance.
The Dinghy is a wooden classic boat that can hold up to 4 people!
Two new 15hp IDEA engines
The boat was built with great care and dedication to be a home or work. It is not a series-built boat saving on material.

In the port side Bow Cabin I glassed the flor in order to install a Aquaponic in the future...It´s very well glassed and painted with potable water paint.
There are reinforcements above the decks in the bow and above the Deckpod
I made some small modifications to the roof of the hulls and it looks more like the Tiki 36, as seen in the screenshots.
The deckpod was modified and installed a huge stern bench that seats up to 5 people comfortably. It is possible to sleep two people below as well.
The roof of the deckpod is very well constructed and laminated, and can be easily climbed to make adjustments and maintenance.
There is a canvas and plastic closure on the deckpod which allows for dry navigation.
Extra information
I sailed from Florianopolis to Rio de Janeiro and in the middle was cought by a Cyclone Bomb, a storm with winds up to 60 knots. The boat resists pretty good.

The compartments are layed out great, plus you have a whole deck to walk around, I have seen people put up a tent in the middle when in port. This video and Luchy Fish video on Wharrams are great. Like the innovation of how the cabins can transform.

Awe did you sold Amelia? Is it too much to take care of? Im considering a tiki 38, 30 or 26. Not sure on how overwhelming it will be if I decide to go for the biggest
I was going to ask, on these I've seen the different pods, is there any reason the pod can't be just a little deeper? and perhaps install windows on the front that open up and out? as long as the pod fits between the crossmembers and has reasonable clearance above the water line, seems like could go down a little deeper. Just my preference I guess.

These cats, as with all cats are very weight sensitive, you can't just start adding more structure as you will make the boat unsafe. Too many people weigh cats down way over what the boat can take. If you want to have all the bells and whistles and more comfort go with a decent blue water mono hull
These cat are not weight sensitive as are most modern cats. All due to the V shaped hulls. Awesome load carriers. It’s described in detail in James design descriptions.
Just my thoughts . Am looking for height under the boom . how low can you go ? The extra weight would be negligible as far as construction goes . Maybe a V shape ?
Am looking at everything since I stumbled on a 26 hull , neglected for years , seemingly in good nick :-)
If the hull is fine , I have a bargain . And lots of work . DIY at home :-)
If the rigging is affordable . Lots of costings to do first .

The plans alone are around $760 .
For that , I get the plans , one hull most of the wood to finish and some glass . And a lot of work :-)
Saw one go for $6k in the US last year , a basic 16 Hobie is $10 k over here .
While the 26 is small for long trips , while building , can make for further .

Exploratio-Mundi" where he documents 2 and a half years spent on a Tiki 26, including a west to east Atlantic crossing. His tiki is extensively equiped for bluewater cruising with deck pod, windvane self steering etc.

Actually boat is down in santa caterina, southern brazil....port of call was itajai.....which is an major port in southern brazil, fishing fleet is still all wood down there (I have spent a lot of time down there over the years)....probably built in one of the yards that does repairs on the wood fishing boats

The other reply about the price, which is crazy by most standards....in brazil there is a 100% import tax on boats and very few domestic boat makers.....so every brazilian's pricing is for the brazilian market, which is another galaxy from the rest of the world

I am a woodworker and own a couple wooden boats. I may be a bit old for a Wharram but I might be up for it for a few or four years.
I know I prefer prep and paint over polishing polyester gelcoat!
And I know painting is finish work. Don’t hire the guy who has killed most of his or her brain cells. I always do my paint and varnish myself.
