I want to give a shout out to Grant Miller. I know it didn’t show in the meet and greet portion of the video, but Grant, out of the kindness in him, gave me a series used bat from the World Series. He is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met and I just didn’t get the chance to thank him enough there so here it is again. Thank you Grant and everyone else who was there. Surely I say I will never forget!

@@jetspope all teams must have at least four hitters in their starting lineup - previously you could roll w/ a three man lineup but that strategy became pretty overpowered in the playoffs. so it’s especially funny/cool that the 4 hitters went CRAZY in the WS
This was my first ever year watching MLW and you guys have made me fall in love with the game of wiffle ball, and help me enjoy watching these videos and even helped give me inspiration that led to me making my own league. Thank you guys so much for the incredible content you guys do, and even though it's sad that this season is over, I am so excited to see how next year goes!!
Man what a WORLD SERIES, what a story, what a season what an entertaining ride that I’m truly grateful for. As an older viewer I can thank this league enough. Having to work everyday, pay the bills etc etc and most importantly having to watch Chicago sports.. MLW gives me that excitement in sports I don’t usually get anymore. I’m so proud of being a fan of this channel since 2018 and I wouldn’t trade it for anything! But besides that LETS GO JACK!! Pipe it up boys STAND UP! Congrats to the Magic and Eagles and most importantly Kyle, Tommy and everyone that put the work to make the greatest MLW season happen. Cheers boys and onto 2024!!

Dan should have changed the line up for the final 3 games. Landon was hot those first 2 games and needed to carry that momentum throughout but Dan kept him in the 4 spot. Not 100% certain but I believe Landon was 90% of their offense in this series. Poor management.

I started watching MLW in 2017 the last time a team came back from a 2-0 series deficit and this gave me nostalgic vibes I’m so proud of the Magic and the Cobras are not alone now
What a series! Dallas Allen is a helluva talent, he deserves and will one day get his ring. But nobody deserved this more than Jack, he built the Magic from the ground up, went through some tough years and finally built a team and a chemistry that he could lead to a ring. Shout out to Swagner!! And AJ couldn’t be more calm, cool, and collected. Pure ice water in his veins.
I hope MLW gets a real trophy next year. This was a fun season to watch

This is some of the most compelling leagues in sports to me right now. I want more and can't get enough! Been watching every Friday at 3pm for the last 3 seasons and pray this keeps growing!
Shout to Grant Miller. The dude came in and is now the most feared hitter in the league. Shout out to the Magic. Down 0-2, Grant and RJ were still locked in.
Jack drafting Grant and Tommy drafting Jordan, two of the best players in the league, just goes to show you how important wiffleball experience is in wiffleball, and yet I'm willing to bet Warda will draft yet another baseball only experience flop like Rudy this winter. Warda you're my favorite player in this league but if you ever want a return to relevance you need another actual wiffleball player before Kracht gets his own team and the Preds turn into a 9K's 1walk snoozefest every game team

This might be the best World Series of all time. What a fantastic finish! Congrats to the Magic! Also, I loved the full AB for Dallas Allen's at bat, as a suggestion, could we get that more often in the future? Not just in the WS or playoffs, but in general for big spots (with go-ahead/tying runs at the plate with 2 outs, or bases loaded two outs, etc.). Thank you for a great season!

Man, what a series! AJ was a stud and definitely deserving of the MVP, but I have to personally give it to RJ. The kid pitched 3 games in a row on the same day and won them all, with 2 shutouts in the mix. He's an absolute beast and has a very bright future in this league

As a Magic fan since the start and going through pain last season. I am incredibly happy. I didn't expect this team to do much at the beginning of this season, I just wanted to see how our new players looked. Maybe a 1st round playoff appearance at best I thought. I never would've thought that we would've been tied for the best record in the regular season, made it to the World Series, and came back down 2-0 to win it all. This season was incredible and not just because my team won it all. This season was packed with insane moments and moments to remember. Thank you MLW for an amazing season for the past 6 months. I am very excited for 2024 and onward!

For Aigner to turn this team around and pick up the key players last off season shows the grit he has as well as the entire team. It's a well balanced team with multiple players that can pitch, hit and field on one team. They'll be in the World Series again Next Year.

This was my first season watching since 2018 I did not know half of the players but it was fun watching the Magic win it even though I am a mallards fan and we always seem to choke late in the playoffs

Awesome season guys! I love watching this league, and watching how you grow. But if there’s any group of people that deserve to get to do what they love, it’s all of you. Watching the meet and greet in this video, and every fan interaction makes me realize just how much you do for those kids(fans). There’s so much worse they could be watching on CZcams, and so many worse things they could be doing. I hope my son grows up and touches the youth like you all do. What you guys do here is nothing short of amazing. Here’s to 2023, and for what’s coming in 2024. Can’t wait to watch. Much love to MLW, and EVERY person involved in it. ❤

Magic has been my favorite team since last season. Walgate and Miller kept me on board and I am very excited for the W. I know I will be called a bandwagon but who cares! Go Magic!

Unfortunate an unbelievable year for D. Allen came crashing down on theatrics of a quick pitch. Learning moment for a Top 5 talent in the league and we know he will be back.

Probably should’ve had Dallas pitch every game but that’s rough…I still want a rule change to force 2 pitcher use in the playoffs
Jack is not the MOTY. It’s either Dan or Jimmy. Jack got all his players handed to him, and didn’t even know who RJ/Grant was before they were drafted, the Bonham trade was constructed by Chadwick as well. Dan learned from last years mistakes last year like starting Dallas every game in the NLDS and batting 5 in the NLDS. This year he went to Blade in starts, and it worked while the 4-man lineup was 10x more effective than the five. He also brought a team from 1-5 to the WS. The Dbacks had questions throughout the entire lineup and secondary pitching and looked how many guys stepped up. Trey was one of the best NO.2s in the league, Pyszka was a great hitter with a 270AVG and 1000 OPS, Casey had an 850 OPS and hit a few bombs. All three of those guys were picked in the bottom three. Nobody leads their team better than jimmy. Jack ain’t Manager of the year y’all.

Eagles had a Cinderella Run but Dallas Allen simply ran out of gas at the end & their inability to produce offense creeped up when they were so close to winning it all.
Magic all season had no flaws, RJ Walgate is a Phenom on the Mound, Grant Miller is a Superstar Stud at the Plate, Jack Aigner the mastermind who put it all together from Drafting perfectly & to leading this team. And last but not least, AJ Ackerman the WS MVP.. what a breakout series, he certainly earned himself a starting spot hitting behind Grant Miller moving forward. What a season, love every part of it.. Can’t wait for Next Year! Great Job guys!

all five games were played in the same day-talk about coming a long way; 2017 was I think the last full season
at the original home field, Cultz Field…to 2923 and Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Incredible season, incredible work boys. Congrats to the Magic. Tough year being a Cobras fan, but the drama of the playoffs made up for it hundered-fold.
You guys should consider a year end montage next year. I think it would be incredible!
Little Story: I decided to be a Metro Magic fan because I would watch MLW but never had a team to cheer for. I met a friend at school who also watches MLW and at the beginning of the season who would always be excited for each game. He was a Diamondbacks fan because of their dynasty at the time. I didn't want to be like everyone else who cheers for the defending champion so I decided to cheer for one of the teams that didn't make the playoffs which ended up being the Metro Magic. I've never been so into Wiffle Ball this much. As soon as the Magic won I texted my friend immediately saying "I told you so." Great season from the Metro Magic. Unbelievable season for them and a great improvement from last year. The Magic are just a different beast.

Congratulations to the Metro Magic on their World Series championship! What a comeback! Walgate got better as the series went on, even as a 14-year-old the stage wasn't too big for him. Ackerman deserved World Series MVP, he had some hugely important HRs in this series. Miller is one of the best players in the game, and he even did some effective mop-up pitching in the first two games of this series. Congratulations to manager Aigner for putting this team together, this last offseason he added Miller, Ackerman, and Walgate to the team, and they went from 2-13 in 2022 to World Series Champions in 2023! Wow!

Yep I really hope for an expansion because it just makes more sense to me to have 3 teams for each side make the playoffs and then 2 miss instead of just 1. Also I would really want to be a fan of a team that built themselves up from the start up to winning the World Series like a Magic fan in 2017 or whatever to now.
Still even with little or no offseason changes, this league is still super talented top to bottom. It'll be an AWESOME 2024 season!

That was a great series and awesome season! What the MLW has become is truly remarkable and inspiring. And while having the World Series in huge stadiums the last few years has been awesome, I think it would have been better if they were played in smaller, more intimate parks where 500-1000 fans were a sellout and they were closer to the action. (Somewhere like little Fenway, Wrigley, field of dreams whiffle ball parks) The stadiums are too cavernous and big and aren't a good fit for the game(right now) especially on steam.
Something about teams whose names start with m and pulling off miraculous World Series comebacks 😅

yeap I am a 51 yr old and no my kids did not get me into this (they probably don't even know it exists). But I've been hooked since I first saw a game last season, so this was my first season I watched the whole way.

I think it’s time to expand the teams in the league. With the rosters growing and only 3-4 guys playing at a time it would make sense to add two expansion teams. That’s if the rosters are going to keep growing and you keep drafting. Obviously a lot more behind the scenes with the schedule and all but great product.

Congratulations to MLW on hugely historically successful season! This was my first year following MLW, and I got to looking forward to the new videos every week! Congratulations on your successes at home and on the road! It was an amazing thing to have your World Series in Atlanta, and I'm glad the fans turned out for it! I'm sure that will help MLW as it continues to grow. The one thing I would say is that everyone seemed utterly exhausted at the end of the series, and I wonder if it would have been better to stretch the series over more than one day? Maybe, maybe not. But when it was over, everyone looked ready for a good nap! Thanks for a great season!

Takeaways from this series...The magic have simultaneously the youngest and oldest player in the league and both are vital to the org, RJ Walgate is too good, Ackerman is a sleeper BOMB hitter, Landon is a sleeper BOMB hitter, Jack Agnor homers in the WS, Dallas Allen is just such a well rounded player. Am I missing any one? I expected a lot more from Dan given his experience in the league, also Bonham.
I'd honestly watch full at bats possibly the whole time. I think it's worth it for the World Series no doubt. Well done to everyone involved in MLW. What an incredible community and organization.
