Miso? Sounds like someone wanted a Japanese sounding company name to sound leading edge when it's just another California start up ran by people with names like "Buck" Jordan. Investing in this company is like investing in crypto or thinking Tesla will have self-driving cars in 2 years. The fryer used here is old tech. Modern fryers were automated to lower and raise baskets on timers meaning this robot really only fills a basket and empties it. All while blocking off the fryer area from human interaction. Hamburgers don't need to be flipped because both sides can be cooked at the same time. Every one of these robots will be torn out in 2 years and replaced by humans or integrated automation.
Wrong. Even this simple robot does away with a useless Zoomer idiot who can't be fucked to cook fresh fries in the lunch rush or top your burger properly. They don't show up late, they don't complain, the don't form useless price cartel unions, and they actually do the job. Cope.
I just got an offer from them. Lowest start rate was 2k investment. There is a bonus if the initial investment is 10k. I have not acted yet. But it's definitely worth reviewing.
Let’s get flippy to cook those white castle burgers the correct way. For the last few years they have been really lazy and not scraping the onions I don’t even see how the burgers cooked correctly like that
Send the CEO a message McDonald's solutions 3+ ice cream/milkshake machines one within 12 hrs working always off from late 8 pm to 8 10 am so they have 1 spare
Ok the machine is getting the items to cook but where is it getting them from? Who's stocking the food?. This is slow as hell. I have a better design. Less invasive. No robo arm.
But who’s going to do maintenance on them if you work in a fast food restaurant you know how greasy everything gets it would definitely have a lot of maintenance to go with it
It's probably going to need service every few days and spend most of its time shut down. Like the soft serve machines. Wait for the repair guy to push a reset button, then repeat the process.
Maybe ill finally quit getting orders messed up 97% of time by teens and 20 something kids on Marijuana. Always giving the order looking high as a kite and pretty much always wrong because have belief that work better high but its not their money being wasted and the unsatisfied customer, the proof is in the pudding because terrible accuracy over all. Im for robots replacing most people in fast food restaurants so can get good accurate service.
Yeah I'm sure they would program a robot arm that cooks fries and burgers to be self aware lol. Think of it like an RC car but with different functions. I do agree though that we should be careful with how we handle Ai though. Reminds me of Ex Machina! Highly recommend
Maybe better pay or work conditions could be a better solution? Less corporate greed? A smidge of humanism? These are just suggestions off the top of my head.
@@chara8407 "Better pay"=price inflation. And why should corporations not make a good return on their investments? Would you buy stock in a corporation that barely makes a profit? The problem is that gov't welfare disincentivises people from working.

Do you have any minimum wage job openings?

Who ever invested into this company about to be sitting on millions soon 🔜 😂
instead of using the same deep fryers humans use why not make a machine that breads and deep fried whatever you put in it using a conveyor?
OMG. I could not agree more. People will invest in anything robotic. Just stupid.
I believe the argument is that it would cost a ton of money to outfit the kitchen to do that whereas this is just plug n play with existing kitchens
Miso has said they're focusing on very simple tasks currently, dropping baskets, filling cups, and eventually hope to move on to more complex tasks.

Using a robot arm seems very inefficient. There are better ways to automate this.
I feel like the robot arm is a sort of visual experience for the customer. People like to watch machines work.
Fast food no workers lol this is a good company 😂
I think it's probably to showcase the idea of retrofitting the robot into existing kitchens

Fast food places need to ditch the deep fryers and go with air fryers.
THIS
Air fryers probably to slow for commercial use. Would be better for us but impress they can cook just as fast won't happen.
People got tired of cold fries and the ice cream machine not working.
More robots should fix that
