I think it might be an interesting addition to give the DJs/Collectors a few seconds in the beginning before the music to intoduce themselves and their story. Not brazilian, Afro. Both Brazil and Uruguay have long and rich Afro traditions which are quite different and separate from each other.
@@shkeni Right, I am sure that is present, but certain elements are clearly Brazilian (bossa nova esque), or if not require a thorough musicological study.
When I listen to Brazilian rock, funk and similar genres it's always interesting to reflect on what elements are inspired by African derived American music, and what comes directly from Brazilians own African history. Likewise when listening to West African salsa-inspired dance music.
