What's your resource that you sell first?

Charcoal initially, but you need to wean yourself off it as soon as possible, as you can never have too much of it once you expand a bit: few things are worse than a prolonged charcoal shortage. Honey is usually the thing I actually export along with charcoal initially: you can get it right from year two, before you have a farm running, and it doesn't perish. Buckwheat and potatoes (they are a paired set for me due to fertility) are next on my list, and then apples once your first orchard (which should always be apples IMO; cherries and apricots can't be exported) comes on line. Apples are perishable, as are potatoes, so exporting them is a higher priority than buckwheat and honey. Once my population goes up a bit, onions and carrots are good exporters too, because you often can't eat enough of them (at least if you make almost all your cottages with gardens). I was constantly looking at my list of which goods are exportable and which are not before I had it (mostly) memorized; I still refer to it a lot for fine tuning.
So for those other people reading this comment: check out the wiki, and note down which towns export - and import - what; and also make note of which goods are perishable (most easily done, IMO, by consulting your resources ingame, in December, and seeing which ones have perished over the year!)

Word of caution: there is a bug right now dealing with (I believe) the Cart Shed. Not sure of the specifics, but the game can crash related to picking up items in certain situation. Hold off on building/using the Cart Shed until the next hotfix. My series has paused for a while as a result.
And I've noticed that since the update the same trader tends to come in repeatedly. Next episode it will repeat with a different town - all issues that will be smoothed out in time.
    Good show!

Glad to hear so. Well...I was planning for 1 or 2 episodes per week, but I got some stuff in real life that kinda slows me down

I have done everything that you have done, but I'm not getting any traders from Derkachi, so I cannot sell any charcoal. I only seem to get the trader from Balikliya, and the only thing I can sell to them is potatoes, which I have now ran out of, so I'm losing money slowly every day. This really sucks when I'm watching you raking the money in from the sale of charcoal. EDIT: Literally about five minutes after writing this comment, I had a visit from the Derkachi Trader. Typical !!!! Oh well, at least I can make some money now.

Haha. Unfortunately the traders visit you randomly. But if you followed the steps from episode 1 you are losing money at a slow rate. Nothing to worry about.

Feels that this kind of game you just can't enter and play. You need to watch some videos first. i WOULD NEVER thought I could buy from villagers and sell into market
