I've gotva sw va 10 point on camera that's very close to bill for rack. If he's not equal he's single digits shy without doubt. My family has 130-150's inch deer mounted so I have other references too all from va. For sure not the biggest deer out there in va all over its just we as hunters are taught sit sane stand and terrible other tactics for getting opportunities at such deer . Here in va or atkeast I was along with all others I know of.

In bad area's with horrible wind movement.. use thermals!!!! As it warms up in the am you don't have to worry about scent because it rises up.. this guy should know this but obviously not lol. You're bullet proff with your scent. Also lots of people spray powder in the air, look at their weather app. Best best best thing I was ever taught about this subject was... find some milkweed pods in the fall, open take seeds out, put into air tight container and let some go from your hunting location.. they follow the wind but even better they follow thermals. It's WICKED AWSOME!!!!!!!. Watch them float up or down with the breeze. Good luck everyone
I do know that but this day was not a high pressure thermal rising day. Not everyday thermals rise.
It was a overcast super windy day.
Like 25-30mph winds on the ridges.
There’s no controlling your wind in bottoms like that.
I’ve done videos on my whitetail edge channel on this exact setup with rising thermals. This was just not one of those days buddy .. good luck this season

Why do you have to „scream“ after the shot? You‘re in the woods hunting, stay quiet.
Why does it matter to you? Were you hunting near his location? Obviously you don’t feel the excitement after a successful shot
