I think the sound system of WT is really f.cked up. Sometimes, you hear the tank coming from one corner of the street, but it actually comes from the other. Same problem with planes or helicopters : sometimes they sound like if they are really flying just above your head, but they are still far away. In RB sound is vital to me, cause I suck at visual spotting. I've been shot countless times by enemies which I expected to see them coming from the left, and they eventually came from the other side. 🤷♂🤦♂(I use a good quality headset, btw, so this is not the culprit) Oh, and what a nice channel, for only 96 subs : ^^ (You're from Maroc ?)
Thank you I'm glad you think so it's nice of you, and I am from Morocco. The sound problem in War Thunder won't get fixed and I face the same issue. The problem is from the game itself not the headset, there was a way to fix it before by using steel series sonar headset filters but that doesn't work now either, I rely on sound so much as well but now I'd rather just mute the game and be situationally aware. They really should fix it it's actually very annoying
Solid AP is way better than APDS damage wise since it generates a lot of shrapnel you would think it is an APHE shell. I used to have solid AP for all my downtiers and keep apds for up tiers. I really love seeing people enjoying this tank, I don't see it as much these days anymore.
I really hated this tank at the beginning when I got it. Stock with AP was horrible. The balance is desastrous. I was really bad also, didn't know how to take positions and flanks. Then I unlocked APDS, learnt the weakspot and ammo point of every tank. And now it's a nuke machine for me. Especially with the jumbo aside, a hellcat. The large panel of planes, corsairs, F8F, P51-D. I love this tank, his line up. And your vid is awesome too!
Thank you for your support I really appreciate it I used to hate the bulldog too. I was a German main noob when I first started War Thunder and dropped from American tech tree at 3.7. I fortunately got the bulldog when the solid AP was the main shell and not the ACPR so I feel you on that one (I had to grind M56 with APCR relatable pain) This is my every event line-up the Jumbo, M109, Bulldog, P51D. This prints you a lot of score points if you ever do these grinding vehicle events. Most of the time I switch P51D with the F8F because the individual 3x bomb drop is better. Sometimes I like to switch it to Germany 6.0 with Tiger E, Panther A and the DO 335 B2
@@Ili_asser Yeah I love the Do 335 B2, insane plane, you shred everytank, you can do so many kills without having to go back to airbase. I'm not a fan of M109, I kinda hate playing all artillery and casemates. Gotta love the 6.7 german with the triple Tiger II line-up, even quadruple for the luckiest one who got the 105
@@xhemurissia8679 My favourite ground pounding plane for me. I love 6.7 Germany and I have a guilty pleasure of taking out 2 Tiger II H and my beloved Jagdtigor (My favourite TD for some unknown reasons) How much I wish they would bring back the Tiger 105 I need a complete collection..
I love that one as well, It doesn't get APDS but the solidshot shell has enough shrapnel and pen to deal with everything in up and down tiers. My only hated bulldog is the German one, sits at a higher BR because it gets a useless shell (Since heatfs is absolutely doodoo in current state)
@@swi2260 I think it is pretty average tank that sits at 8.0 with the exact same 76 mm + APFSDS, in the other hand you have the much better Leopard 1, DF 105 using 105mm at the same BR. I haven't touched M41D in a while, could be better than what I experienced before though

I have the m41a3 on china 5.3, pretty much the same thing, and it is a beast

@@Ili_asser Scout drone, thermals, and LRF give it some unique capabilities, but there are other 8.0 tanks that are better generalists IMO.
